Nice clean rooms for affordable price. Excellent quality/ price balance. Very friendly and helpful host. Close to historical city center and main sight seeings. The place is quiet after 10 PM, but if you prefer going to sleep earlier take into account that there is a restaurant in the inner courtyard. We enjoyed our stay there.

Very clean and very close to Grand Bazaar. Hospitable host. Please ask for the exact address. It is NOT at the Sultan Ahmed Parki as it claims to be.

This place is comfortable quiet and near the historical spots. It is near to Metro's which can take you almost every historical area and Ataturk Airport, hospitality in this place out of world, owners and employee often will get out their way to make you happy and comfortable plus they have an traditional Turkish Brekky with unlimited free tea and coffee all day long, this place is not a 5 star hotel but it has enough qualities to make life easier for the patrons.

The bedroom was exactly like the photos- clean, bright, and roomy! Yummy HOT Turkish tea available anytime - we loved it so much we bought tea glasses home. Yusuf was very accommodating by offering us a snack when we returned at the end of the day or if we missed breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, he provides a traditional breakfast with tea or Turkish coffee. We enjoyed the service and the food. Loved the cheese! His guesthouse is very close to a great pedestrian street that has an abundance of cafes/restaurants. We had a great ($$) seafood dinner with live music (a celebratory atmosphere) with out wandering far from 'home'. He is a quick ten minute walk to Sultanamet square and a traditional covered market. On the way, you will pass some great places to buy Turkish delight, cafes, and stores. We appreciated the non-touristy location. Yusuf's house is also a cafe. There was a steady clientele of locals, in the lobby and out front, enjoying tea/coffee/food, and the popular 'hookah' pipe. We thought about partaking but, ran out of time. We had to catch a 3:00 a.m. taxi and he called to arrange that which we really appreciated. His father was there to help with our bags and make sure we got off okay. We appreciate how Yusuf was concerned and attentive, during our entire stay (5 days). He cared about whether we had were comfortable and/or having a good time. Thank you, Yusuf for making our trip easy and for being a wonderful host.

I stayed at Otantik Guest house for 8 nights between 8th and 16th June. It is a neat and clean place, the room had clean sheets and towels. The bathroom was spotless clean with hot water shower. The place is located 15 min walk from the yenkapi station so you can take metro train from airport to yenkapi and walk to the guesthouse. The beyazit tram station is like 10 min walk away from there you can connect to any major part of istanbul. there are grocery store and good on pocket restaurants near by. As Yusuf is working, we met two to three times, amazing hard working person. His Father and brother makes good breakfast for you in the morning and make sure you get a good start to your day. they were there for me if I need anything at anytime. This was my first Airbnb experience, otantik guest house and team made it the best so far.
