Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, inlcudes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed, access to the beach and kayaks. What more could you want! It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Restaurants very close by.

The space
This small, non smoking, cozy cabin is a great base camp from which to explore Cape Breton Island. It can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children on the futon. From here, travellers are equidistant from the Cabot trail and all things West, to the Fortress of Louisbourg and other sites in Cape Breton. Or simply stay "home" and walk to the private beach where you can go Geocaching by kayak! The views from the property and beach are sunfilled.

We are a very busy professional family and have always wanted to share our beautiful island with others so we built a little cabin in the woods. We love to travel around Cape Breton to see the many spectacular views from most everywhere!

During your stay

*Covid-19 Update* Our check-in process is contactless. During your entire stay we will be available via air bnb messages, calls or texts. The cabin is quite isolated, once you are on the property there should not be a time when you run in to anyone else, this is the only cabin on the property. The beach is the only shared area however, it is large enough for distancing if anyone else is there. We have also enhanced our cleaning process; we will be allowing the cabin to air out from the time the last guests check out (11am) until the next guests check in. We will be thoroughly disinfecting all surfaces, kitchen utensils, doors, ...etc. We have reduced the amount of linens that we typical would leave however, if you require more towels or blankets please let us know and we can deliver them with zero contact. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
