There is a 24 hour shop located at street level directly below, very reasonable parking and a liquor store diagonally across the road. The space

The apartment has a unique blend of city vibe and privacy. Being 8 stories up it is well away from traffic noise yet you can sit in anonymity on the sunny balcony and view the city go about its business with the blue sea of the harbor in the background. Many apartments have troublesome or noisy neighbors, we have been blessed with delightful ones, quiet and respectful. I really hope you will enjoy your time here and return. If you are traveling to Auckland can I recommend another newly listed apartment? It consists of a very spacious living area, separate laundry, shower etc and two double bedrooms with their own sunny verandah for breakfast. It is close to the city but has all the feel of being in the country, mature trees, no street lights or noise and just birdsong to wake to. It's well worth checking out being on the major bus routes and well below market rate at the moment while getting established.

Getting around

There is lots of public transport right by the main door, however lots of the famous sights in Wellington are very close and easy to walk to, e.g. Te Papa or Cuba St.

Other things to note

You really can't get much closer to the "Place to be in Wellington" than this, it's a truly top location. You can walk to almost all the top sights and shops and for longer trips the busses are just on the street and very well priced.

Totally awesome location, right in the best spot of Wellington City. Easy walking distance to Cuba Street, Te Papa Museum, buses and everything you need. Quite small, but very well equipped and has everything you need.

Jess was really easily to deal with and accomodated all my needs, although I had to arrive later than initially agreed. The place is located fairly centrally and it's a 5 minutes walk to Cuba Street where all the good restaurants are. Thanks

I stayed in this apartment for 4 weeks. It has it all: well furnished, great location, and responsive host. The beds were comfy and the apartment had everything to keep me comfortable for my extended stay. Jeff helped out with my questions about the washer. The quality night shades kept out the city lights. It is in the CBD with its expected level of city noise, especially on weekends, but the 9th floor location removed the apartment from the immediate din.
