So who am I? My friends would describe me as a person who “has ants in her pants” and who is “open-minded towards others”, my fiancé as “caring mother and partner”, my parents as “loveable and ambitious”. I would describe myself as “ambitious” and “eager for knowledge”. I think that I am a complex personality with as many facets and qualities as the roles I play in my life.
After I had completed two business studies degrees, my urge for knowledge in the academic field was satisfied, at least for the time being. Exercising has always been a means to find some balance between my demanding working and personal life. So I asked myself, “Why shouldn’t I share my passion with others?” I started by becoming a pilates trainer. What fascinates me about pilates is that you can train your body without using any gym equipment and that your body responds positively to this training in next to no time. Following that, I completed my education as a mental trainer for adults and children. I simply love to guide people on their mental journey and I feel inspired by the positive energy evolving during every single session. Through mental training I found my way to yoga. For me, Yoga is not only a way to explore my inner self, but also provides me with strength, stretching and balance. Body and mind are equally challenged. Yoga helps me to get my balance back. I completed my yoga teacher training with Jacqueline Chiodo and became a certified yoga teacher for children (from kindergartners to adolescents) after I had completed my training with Susanne Eichinger. Teaching adults provides me with so much energy that after just one hour I feel ready for the challenges of my everyday life. And as for children, I want to show them that moving their bodies is fun and that yoga is more than just “sitting still” – a belief that, unfortunately, is hold by many parents. Besides, I also learn a lot from the children I teach. They give so much and since the birth of my daughter, it has become even easier for me to immerse myself in the children’s world.
Because I think that endurance sports and yoga go hand in hand, I also became passionate about cross-country skiing in winter (GREAT, because I love jogging in summer), which is the reason why I teach it as well. It is fun to urge and encourage people to reach their limits.
As multi-faceted as my different trainings are, as multi-faceted is my personality, which is reflected in the courses I hold and in the house KAPSHOF I rent to people. I would be very happy to show you my little world in the fabulous surrounding of the Kaiserwinkl in Kössen and to welcome you as my guests in my house.
