The space
Designed by award-winning architects Gruff, this house has recently been renovated and extended. The house combines the original victorian cottage with impresisve modern touches, artfully woven through open plan living spaces. It's been designed to sit comfortably with the natural landscape and to create an enhanced connection between the house, garden and the surrounding views.

The house is flooded with natural sunlight. It has a bright, spacious and modern contemporary open plan kitchen living area and can accommodate up to 8/10 guests across the 4 stylish bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The snug has a sofa bed so can accommodate extra guests if required. The outdoor landscaped gardens and terraces wrap the house and include 2X outdoor dining/seating areas, a boardwalk leading to a sunken fire pit, a wood fired hot tub, hammock, BBQ (guests responsible for cleaning after use) and plenty of space to entertain and for children to play. There are additional fees if the hot tub is going to be used, please enquire at booking stage.

The bespoke kitchen has everything you need for your stay; induction hob, 2 ovens, large fridge, freezer, wine fridge, microwave, toaster, cafetiere, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. If you require a high chair or travel cot please let us know.

There are 3 living areas; TV area with large comfortable sofa and floating wood burner to relax, unwind and watch a movie. The lookout area with designer furniture and hanging egg chair to enjoy a cocktail and garden views. And then the separate dark snug at the front of the house to escape to with a book, afternoon nap or to do some work.

There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 king-size bedroom with an ensuite and a children’s bedroom with single bunkbeds and 2X additional beds. The snug can be an extra double bedroom if required and is subject to additional fees. This needs to be mentioned at booking stage.

The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and the downstairs toilet also has a shower.

The garage is locked and not available for guests to use.

Guest access
Parking is available for 4 cars and there are black electric gates. Self check in.

Other things to note
You’ll see many beautiful deer when you visit, they come right up to the rear fence and they’re often out in the road so take care when driving and please ensure the front gates are shut at all times, otherwise they’ll wander in and eat all the plants!
