The space
This is a very spacious, calm inviorment that is ideal to rejuvenate yourself, with an incredible helpful community that cares a lot about everyone's well-being.

Kindly note, that we expect all guests to keep the communal kitchen super clean for the next person to use.

We offer washing, hanging, and folding for R30 per kg. No ironing. If needed, an iron and ironing board will be provided.

Guest access
Guests drive through a remote controled gate. We need advance notice of guests when you on your way. Also you need to hoot infront of our gate. Ample of parking inside on the property

A friendly request for guests to post/ attach a copy of their government issued ID before arrival. Also contact details of next of kin, incase of emergencies. Do this thro the Airbnb Chat , which is a secure platform.

Other things to note
It is not ideal to be out late at night as we have a manual gate that needs to be opened and closed.

A Quick Note on Night-time Security
To keep the property secure, our night guard locks the main gate between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. You are welcome to come and go as you please, but if you plan to arrive or leave during these hours, please give the guard a quick call ahead of time so he can open the gate for you!

For long stays we charge additional contribution for cleaning and washing products, toilet paper and kitchen basics.

As our area encounter Citypower challenges at times, kindly be advise to bring a torch, solar light and a power bank for your phone.

we have a little oasis in the middle of an industrial area, Kya Sands. we host drumming and music events as sound is not a restriction.

we are located close to the informal settlement, Mzawaws, which makes it true African living with night sounds all around.

The aging process emphasize the fact, that having fun, in whatever you do, is most important! Also that kindness is the greatest wisdom. I'm a custodian of an Antiquarian book, map and print collection. We also have woodern art sculptures of 18x Northern province artists. I occupy my days with hosting photographic and video shoots at my studio in Hurlingham. Also refreshing our Airbnb spots to give guests much more than they expect.
