Serena's flat is wonderful. It looks exactly like the pictures and is perfect for solo travelers or couples. I HIGHLY recommend it! I'm 28, and I was spending a week alone for the first time and was a little nervous. Serena met me at the flat on Friday evening. I took a train to Termini Station and a taxi to the flat. She spent about an hour with me showing me the place, the map, some important information, and just talking a while. Many places are easily walkable from the flat. It's only a few blocks away from cute cafes and restaurants in the Trastevere neighborhood and about 1.5 miles walk north to the Vatican. Getting across the bridges was simple, and there are a couple of bus stops within half a mile. I also discovered a hidden gem of an art museum, Palazzo Corsini, literally around the block on my last day. Check it out if you're able! I had just come from a week in Spoleto, so I also liked being able to do laundry and pick up a few things to cook from the Coop across the bridge. The time I spent in the apartment I enjoyed reading, cooking, surfing the net and watching Netflix at night on the Wifi. Everything was comfortable and worked great! Serena was readily available when I had questions, and was even nice enough to help me arrange an early morning taxi to catch my early flight back to the US at the end of the week. As a woman traveling alone, I felt pretty safe in the neighborhood. Most people are very friendly and there are a lot of other travelers in this area. It’s well-lit and well-populated at night. I only had one stranger danger moment with a street seller at night, but easily removed myself from the situation. A few other places around Rome I enjoyed (besides the obvious): MAXXI, the modern art museum, had some fun and unusual pieces (and the time in the A/C in the middle of the day was welcome too!). The museum of musical instruments (but I am a musician). Piazza Navona, where there were some great street performers. T-Nobile, a locally owned leather goods shop with a generous selection, super nice and helpful staff (they even invited me to enjoy their aperitivo when I walked in), very well-made items, and good prices. I hope you enjoy Serena’s place and Rome as much as I did!

Serena is a wonderful, kind host. She was always ready to respond to our questions both before and during our trip. Her flat is located in a perfect area in Trastevere. It is such a fun and quaint area with so many dining choices. Very close is a cafe that we went to each morning, often returning to after a walk about Rome. Also, the flat is somewhat half-way between Vatican City (about a 25 minute walk) and the other way, the Colosseum (about a 45 minute walk) and Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon (about 50 to 60 minutes) in another direction. Taxis and busses are handy too. The apartment itself is just like it is shown in pictures. Perhaps it feels a little smaller in person but ample for two people. You will have all you need in this quaint space. The road itself is a stone's throw from the busier restaurant area which is a nice refuge. Thank you Serena. We will tell our friends about you, your wonderful spot and recommend it for their travels to Rome.

Dear Laura, thank you for your feedback. I am happy to have made all I could do to satisfy all your requests. About the size of the flat I couldn't really help! Yes the condo is cozy and new refurbished as writtend in the description and showed in pictures, that mostly have been taken from an AIRBNB photographer, there is also a map of the flat, so that all info are provided. Your dad and sister slept in two separeted area of the flat, which has space enough to allow this for two people.
