Guest room #1 is a perfect base to explore the Wood River Valley's outstanding hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fine restaurants and cultural amenities. The Sun Valley airport is just minutes away.
Location: Bellevue is a quiet, small town ideally located just 20 minutes south of Ketchum/Sun Valley area, Idaho. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, downhill and cross-country skiing, art and culture, fabulous restaurants . . . the Wood River Valley has it all!
My sweet, recently remodeled 1920 Old Bellevue home is next to a delightful small park and just blocks from public transportation, the famous Wood River Valley bike/ski path, Howard Nature Preserve and the Valley's best pizza! Stroll along rural roads into nearby canyons or drive 20 minutes to The Nature Conservancy's Silver Creek Preserve, world famous for fly fishing and birding.
Accommodations: Guest Room #1 is light and bright with a new, very comfortable double bed. A large, private bathroom with shower and tub (with jets!) is just across the hall and also houses the washer/dryer. The gardens abound with color and flavorful vegetables. Bird feeders attract avian visitors year round and you may spot deer and other wildlife on nearby hillsides.
Guests will have access to kitchen, dining room, living room, large bathroom with washer/dryer and backyard. If you have your own food, let me know and I'll clear a space in the refrigerator for you to use . I will provide breakfast if you wish.

I'm the education director at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden, located just south of Ketchum, and am an avid birder, naturalist and writer. I love traveling and for almost 2 1/2 years, traveled and lived in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Now, as an Airbnb host, I can give back a bit of the generosity shown me as a traveler during those exciting times.
