The 26 m2 apartment (with double bed and sofa-bed) in villa "Medeina" is located in the Sventoji village of the Palanga. It is only 750 m from the Sventoji Center and 1600 m to the beach. A peaceful and quiet area, perfect for families with children.
The apartment is in the villa which occupies nearly 50 Ares of the territory. This is an environmentally friendly villa: the buildings have been built by maximize using the ecological materials; the water is extracted from a 160 m deep artesian borehole and meets the stringent requirements of the quality of drinking water (which is evidenced by the available laboratory certificate).
The villa consists of two buildings which are connected with the closed gallery.
Sventoji is a resort town on the Baltic coast, the part of Palanga city municipality. Town is situated on both sides of the Holy River which reaches the Baltic Sea. The main part of the town is on the left bank. Across the river is to build three bridges. There live about 2000 people.
There stands 39 m tall lighthouse, Snt. Virgin Mary Star of the Sea Church, school, dispensary, a post office. There are many hotels, on the river bank (in the east of town) is a stage, in the woods near the road Klaipėda-Liepaja is a cemetery. In the northern outskirts of the town where it ends as well as ends the all Palanga is located the Butinge oil terminal. The way leads to the Liepaja (Latvia) through the Sventoji.
PLACES OF INTEREST: Žemaičių Alka. In XIV century on the Birute hill top (Palanga) was installed the place of the astronomical observation. Its remains together with the remains of a pagan temple (called "Alka") discovered by archaeologists in 1989 In 1998 the observatory has been restored in the northern part of the Sventoji. Here stand the pillars of the Baltic tribes gods and goddesses which artists carved from the wood: Perkūnas, Aušrinė, Žemyna, Austėja, Ondenis, Patrimpas, Patulas, Velnias, Lada. At sunset on the sea, the pillars can help calculate the calendar holidays: Rasas (night from 23 June to 24 June), Stork day (25 March), Shrove Tuesday, Christmas and other.
Here is celebrated the pagan holidays: goddess Milda (13 May), Rasos (22 June), Equinoctial (22 March). Jorės (23 April) holiday which is called the holiday of the Palanga pagans when there is sacrificed the amber dust.
Sculpture "Fisherman's daughters". This is sculptress Zuzana Pranaityte designed and built in the dunes impressive sculptural composition. Three girls are looking to the sea and are waiting out fisherman's father's return from the sea. A great impression leaves a 4 m high of the sculpture.
Resort "Forest for All". There are located the pergolas, fireplaces, for the children - playgrounds. From here you can walk along forest paths specially equipped "Hedgehog Trail" and "hedgehog path".
