What an cool place to stay! Carrie was so welcoming and even though our arrival was a bit late, she stayed up to help us get settled in. If you're there in the non-winter months, you need to check out the garden in the back yard. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be reaching out the next time we're back in the area.

I was in town for a friend's wedding. From beginning (reservation) to end (checking out), Carrie was very kind, responsive with communication, and super willing to accommodate our needs. When we arrived at her place, she welcomed us in even though it was very late, greeted us the next two mornings, and put big smiles on her face the entire time. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks Carrie. I'd highly recommend her place to all others visiting the area!

Victorian Suite in a Renaissance Festival style home. :) Very lovely, unique decorating style and the home is warm and inviting. Carrie is so welcoming, kind and accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the extra things she did to make us comfortable.

Karl and I have been married 18+ years. I am a professional artist; my business is King Lang Art and Airbrushing. I do fine art, portraits, and custom automotive painting, especially motorcycles. I am also an Independent Non-denominational Christian minister/author. I sometimes moonlight as a high school biology teacher as well. My husband is a fishing guide (Fishin With Karl) and industrial painter/supervisor at Daigle Bros Fabricating here in Tomahawk.. We have no children but do have 2 anti-social cats. We love hunting, fishing, golfing, trap shooting, downhill skiing...I am an avid Harley rider as well.
I enjoy antique and thrift shopping, art, history, everything Victorian, gothic architecture, perennial gardening, Indian food and a good stout beer or red wine. We have traveled to Alaska several times and I have traveled most of the United States.
We are strongly Christian but not "religious" or legalistic. We are very laid back friendly people. We prefer to travel light and are low maintenance people.
