Features 2 queen rooms, 1 single room, bunk room with 3 singles and a double, bathroom with separate shower, laundry with washing machine, functional kitchen, large living space with 50" TV and DVD player.

The space

Only a 400m walk to The Great Ocean Road's safest swimming beach which joins to a creek, perfect for kids.

Also 400m from Main Street with a general store, cafe/restaurants, famous Port Campbell Hotel (pub), tennis courts, park and skate park.

It is a traditional beach house in its original condition. Although a little run down, it has been refurbished throughout with brand new furniture/bedding and offers a very comfortable, clean and tidy family feel.

Other things to note

Sheets, pillow cases, bath towels and all bedding included.

Please bring your own beach towels if you intend on going for a swim.

Good communication with the host. The house is very well located at a short walking distance to/from town. The beds are in very good conditions with clean linen, towels and bathrobes. Big and comfortable open TV area. The kitchen is old and requires some maintenance and a more complete set of utensils. The ceiling at the kitchen/dinning area, around an extractor, has mark of what looks like an extended water damage. The floor outside the shower also requires some repairs. We basically were surprised with the state of deterioration of the building which was not clearly specified in the description (it only says "a little run down") or shown in the photos. I do not believe the "affordable" price compensates the lack of basic maintenance and repairs required.

Affordable accommodation. A bit challenging in winter but overall amenities are ok. The host tried best to give professional touch in cleaning and linen. I look forward to stay here in summer days.

This is a well situated and spacious house for those looking for budget accommodation. It was great to be able to walk to the Port Campbell township. Hosts were kind enough to leave an abundance of towels, slippers and bathrobes for us, which made our stay comfortable.
