As described, clean and comfortable room with a stunning mountain view! We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and we had everything that we needed (ski room, plenty of parking, etc.) The location is great for skiing all of Zillertal, our favourite area on this occasion was accessed by the lift at Lanersbach (Eggalm). There is quite a steep hill down to the main road for the bus stop etc, therefore we would suggest either driving to the main gondolas or taking separate footwear for the walk down to the ski bus. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing trip!

A perfectly fine 3*** hotel. Clean and comfortable, well located in terms of getting up the mountain. Continental breakfast was provided but no tea or coffee facilities in the room - I would have liked a kettle (but then I am British and like tea) - nor any cooking facilities like in other AirBnBs when you stay in someone's house. Great communication and friendly hosts.

We LOVED Dominik's place!! We were much later on arrival than anticipated and Dominik was very understanding and kind! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed! The rain down shower was especially wonderful after a long day of hiking. The views from his place were stunning and probably the best views we have ever had from an airbnb! Dominik suggested we take the ski left up the mountain in town and it was amazing, so happy we got to experience that! We highly recommend Dominik's place and would definitely stay again!

Awesome location for those looking to ski in the Hintertux area. Dominik was great to communicate with and the place had all the essential amenities we were looking for. Breakfast was an added bonus as well. Would definitely recommend!

We have quite enjoyed our stay at the BnB, which is as beautiful and pleasant as described by Dominik. The space has a genuine "charm" and the sauna after a long day of traveling was the best way to relax. To enjoy breakfast and be able to look out onto the gorgeous mountains is a huge plus as well. Hintertux is definitely a town to check out ... there is so much awesome there.

For us it's a rush stop over at Tux just for a night in order to visit the Swarovski Crystal World. It's about an hour drive from our destination. Finding the Dominik's B&B is a surprise. We wished we have enough time to go up the Glacier, friendly suggestion by the host (Probably everyone else is coming for the Glacier). The B&B sits on the hill side, we called when we arrived at the town street and within 5 mins we are picked up. The room is clean and provides basic amenities. We have our own private parking lot!

I grew up in a touristic hotspot in the heart of the Alps in Austria. Since then I was confronted with tourism and all of its pros and cons.

Right after school and university I focused on a career within the IT industry which seemed to be my passion since I was a little child. Over the past years as Junior Consultant, Business Development Manager and Head of PM Office within a global IT company I travelled a lot within Europe, Asia and Latin America. Everywhere I went I was curious about how the different cultures are handling the pros and cons of tourism and how they are contributing to and living from tourism.

There was a turning point in my life when I met my wife with the same passion about travel and both coming out of touristic places within the Alps. We travelled to the hot spots of tourism in Asia, Europe and US and our passion about tourism has become the reason to dedicate our future work within this industry.

The family of my wife owns a small guesthouse at the foot of the year-round ski area Hintertuxer Glacier where a lot of families, couples and winter sport enthusiast seek for their perfect holiday experience.

We want to enable our guests to find their ideal holiday accommodation and to experience the hospitality in this region. I even decided to start my PhD in Economics about Innovation in Tourism and teach on a University dedicated to tourism to spread our experience and learn from the leaders in tourism.

This is now our joint passion, hosting in Hintertux and travelling the world.

When I found out about Airbnb through an Australian colleague I was absolutely convinced that this will revolutionize the travel industry and is exactly the way of travel we always looked for on our trips.

That is why we decided to host on Airbnb and to provide our guests this special experience many of them are looking for when booking their holiday. Connecting with each other and learning about the culture while relaxing in the middle of the Alps.
