Our house is called El Laberinto (the labyrinth). We are actors and musicians and in the house we have a recording studio. We love hosting visitors from all over the world in a homey environment, close to art. We are in the surroundings of the downtown, four blocks away from the Tarascas fountain and the Acueduct.

The space

Besides being really close to downtown, if you stay with us we can help you in your trip (wether is leisure or work). We can tell you all about the artistic and cultural aspects of Morelia and Michoacán.
The room is very big and bright, it has two windows that open to a little balcony, allowing you to see the neighborhood and also having a lot of air circulation (great if you smoke). We have a nice, comfortable double bed, a single cot and we could even provide an air bed, this because the room is big and it could even host four people, if you'd like to stay together for an inexpensive stay. The room and the bathroom are on the second floor, on the first floor we have another bathroom and the common area.
If this room is not available on the dates you need, we invite you to check the other room we offer, on the same house and price point, it's only a little smaller.

Guest access

You can have access to the kitchen, the laundry room and we have wi-fi. We have two very friendly cats, but if they are a problem we can have them in a separate area. There is a free parking space two blocks away from the house, but if you'd like something else we have (for an extra fee) a parking lot across the street. The car could also be parked on the street, below the windows of the room you stay in. Any option you choose, the car can be safe and close to you.

Interaction with guests

We always like, if we coincide in schedules, to share with our guests and have a nice cup of coffee (or tea) together. We love to talk and share points of view, learn from the experience from each guest. But we also know that some people like their space, and we respect that! The house is big enough to allow a private stay in the city. We can, of course, help you in anything you need to have a nice time in Morelia.

Other things to note

We can have work in the recording studio that is on the first floor, but we always will try to keep them from interfering from your stay.

If you want a taste of Bohemian Morelia stay at this spot. The house is charming and comfortable, in a good location, and I was immediately treated like a family member. Everyone in the household is an artist in every sense of the word, the conversation flows, and there is coffee. Step into "the labyrinth" and see for yourself.

The best place to stay at in Morelia without have to spend a lot to be close to the true spirit of Morelia. It's a great place to walk to the main strip. They are great hosts .I hope to see them soon.

A very, very nice host, interested in communicating with people and exchanging life impressions. The room we stayed in, is very large, a bit bohemian, a bit noisy from the street, but it is no problem after 11-12pm I think (because my husband and I are over 70, ) that the place is good/better for younger people, maybe, backpackers type. The low price is fair, has no promises of luxury and offers the chance to meet real people, intelligent and artistic, and to learn some extra Spanish . Analaura and her family are artists/musicians, so, do not miss going to one of their shows. We have been, and enjoyed very much the performance. Have in mind the shared bathroom and kitchen. Be honest with yourself.

Analaura's house is a very good place to stay when you want to explore Morelia. It is only a small walk away from lovely markets, eating places and the centro historico. Besides that, Analaura is a heartwarming woman who is not only super friendly but also helpful. I experienced problems with my camera and she sorted out a place where they could fix it. Moreover, the bedroom is very spacious and offers a comfortable bed. The house has a nice creative vibe. I would definetely recommend it!

Analaura is a wonderful host. She picked me up from where I was staying. I had a dizzy spell the next morning and she was so kind in helping me get back to bed. She offered to stay with me and not go to work. She was very kind, always attentive and speaks great English. I would recommend her place to everyone. The room was really warm too and a comfortable bed. I felt instant friendship! Thank you for everything and for storing my bag for me to pick up when I return to Morelia
