After a lovely tour of Dedham Vale vineyard we didn't want to go home so decided to stay in a near by town called Manningtree. Melanie's place was the first I saw and knew I wanted to stay straight away. The property was easy to find and you have a parking space next to the house. Really easy to check in and out and we were greeted by Marcel who showed us around. There is an information guide on the house and the town and so we went to a few places in the evening. The property was quirky and spacious which I loved and the fridge was stocked with ample supplies. We only stayed one night but I would definitely come back and would recommend to others. Top find

Mel was great, lots of helpful tips of taxis and and restaurants. The accommodation was very comfortable. Lots of interesting books and art work to look at whilst enjoying the breakfasts provided.

This is a beautiful, quirky, homely place with great books, interesting features and situated in a friendly and stunning seaside village seemingly untouched by tourists. The hosts were also superb. We loved it!

I love melanies place. It's the second visit this year and won't be the last. I have told my friends and family all about the annexe and how wonderful melanie is as a host. Thank you once again for a lovely stay.
