1 of 6 beautiful wooden bandas with shared clean toilets and showers in SandRocks Lodge, aEuropean and African family run, relaxed lodge in Kichangani, Dar es Salaam. 3 en suite rooms also available. Accommodate one extra bed and cot for extra charge.

The space

The lodge is hidden away off the beaten track, in 2 acres of land with swaying coconut trees, in rural part of Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. Unique boat style restaurant and bar serving African and European Fusion Food, with sea views. Relax on comfortable long sofas overlooking children's play area. Short walk to a beautiful, quiet, pristine long white sandy beach via natural fauna and flora. Peace, is what you will obtain here.

Guest access

Access to all the ground accept owner’s private residence within the lodge.

Interaction with guests

As we live onsite, we have a 24 hour service to help if you have any problems. We have 24 hour security.
Confirmation of your intended arrival must be by 10am (local time) by phone or email and check out is 11am. You may use the other facilities available including the restaurant, bar and shared outside private showers and toilets.

Other things to note

Bed sheets included. Room cleaning included. Towels included. Breakfast is included. A lovely boat style restaurant and bar is at the lodge serving highly acclaimed Fusion Food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks all day.
Pet dogs are welcome as long as friendly and controllable and that you are prepared to clean up after them. Dog blankets and bowl available.

House Rules

We have our children living in the lodge, please respect them and any other children. Respect other guests staying at the lodge at all times. Dogs need to be child friendly, quiet and on a lead. They are not allowed on beds. Any damages are to be paid for.
