No Excessive Drinking
Hey folks! This year I have taken over the running of Hideaway B&B from my mum Katy.
I love the outdoors, running, swimming (especially in the sea), surfing, coasteering at Baggy Point, sunbathing in the sand dunes, hiking, and cycling. This part of the North Devon Coast is perfect for so many activities. I love surfing, and when the waves get too big for me, just watching them roll in from the beach or up on the rocks is great.
Apart from sports, I'm an author and creative writing tutor. I read a lot of books, some favourites recently are Patrick McCabe's 'The Butcher Boy', and Tim Winton's 'Breath'. If you are any kind of artist, the landscape and sea here are great for inspiration.
Anyone who likes wildlife will also find something here to appreciate, whether it's the wetland birds along the estuary, the sea birds you'll see nesting and diving as you walk up to Baggy Point, or you may head over to Lundy island to see the puffins. Occasionally when I've been surfing here a seal has popped up beside me and shared a moment. Gardening in the company of all the wild garden birds here is also one of my favourite things to do year round.
I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and eating & cooking healthy vegetarian food.
