Ground level accessibility and plowed County Road makes this typically available year-round. CR 162 is well maintained in the Winter. Be on the look out for dear & wildlife year round. 4wd and high clearance vehicles are always recommended in the Winter/Spring in Colorado since weather is unpredictable. Switching into 4 WD before entering the driveway is advised in deep snow conditions. We will leave keys in a lock box or designated area (which we will communicate before your stay).

Conserve water, clean up after yourselves, wash & put away dishes before leaving (or start the dishwasher), take all perishables, bag your garbage/recycle & leave it secured inside near the front door.
There is a dishwasher but no garbage disposal because it is a septic system. Please wipe dishes well and do not let debris go into the drain.
Never feed or approach wildlife.
No pets due to so many guests' allergies.
No hunting, smoking, fireworks, or fires inside or out due to the high fire danger.

We made Colorado our home in 1985, raising our kids with the fresh air and adventure of the Collegiate Peaks. We have traveled all over the world & love to experience new cultures and destinations with Airbnb hosts. Still, this mountain home always calls us back to get recharged. Along with our two adult children, we've enjoyed Chaffee County the most of all our Colorado destinations. We love the outdoors. Our huge deck is a testament to that. We enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking, xc skiing and telemarking the hut system, bird watching, gardening, geocaching, ATVing, reading, yoga, music, exploring new places, learning new things and meeting new people. We are both REALTORS in Buena Vista with RE/MAX and would love to take you around to help you fulfill your dream of owning mountain property. It's better in Bueney! When you come visit, look us up at RE/MAX office at the stop light in Buena Vista (12 miles away). Pure Vida! Blessings! Namaste! and Aloha!
