This five bedroomed house, in the heart of Bishops Castle, is a perfect base for exploring the Shropshire Hills. The house sleeps 9 in five bedrooms.

Bishops Castle is a very small, old market town, off the main roads, and 4 miles from the Welsh border. The town provides all you need for a short or long stay, from fuel, to shops, pubs and restaurants. But within a minute walk from the centre you can be in some of the most beautiful countryside in England.

The space
The five bedrooms are set out as follows.
Two bedrooms have double beds
One bedroom has two single beds.
One bedroom has a small (4ft) double bed and a single bed.
And there is a very small (8ft by 7ft) bedroom with a single bed.

The large living room has an inglenook with wood-burner, three sofas and other easy chairs. There is a smart television and fast fibre WIFI.

The large kitchen/dining room can seat eight adults around the dining table. It has dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with pans etc to cater for large groups.

There are two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over it. The downstairs bathroom has a shower cubicle with an electric shower. Both bathroom have toilets. The house is fitted with a very large hot water tank, as well as the electric shower.

At the back of the house there is a grass covered yard. The main garden is 30 meters down the footpath which runs from the house. It has furniture for outside eating.

Other things to note
Please note that the stairs to the first floor are fairly steep. For this reason the house is not suitable for people who may have difficulty with stairs.

There is no gas supply in Bishops Castle and the house is heated by electric radiators in the main rooms and bedrooms There are also electric blankets on the beds.

There is a powerful wood burning stove in the sitting room and a free supply of wood.

A 300 litre hot water tank ensures sufficient hot water for baths and showers for large parties. There is also an electric shower.
