Juja House is full of history, built in 1905, it's had the pleasure of President Roosavelt as a guest. Sit back and relax with a beer by the pool whilst you soak up the African scenery! Perfect for families, travellers, or chill seekers.
The house is very secluded! It is approximately 18km off the main Thika Highway and situated on an old Sisal Farm. The house is named Juja House, which served as a weekend and shooting house for the Old Colonials. There is even an old metal ring where they used to keep the pet lion! Nowadays, it is a chillout weekend spot, perfect for getaways with friends and families to enjoy a beer or two!
You are free to roam for as far as you would like. Go for long walks and runs and explore the area! There is private BBQ and sunbathing area by the pool, which look over a beautiful ravine on an affinity veranda. From the ravine you can see the river below, and there are paths to explore down to the river - but be careful of the hippos!
There are two staff whom live on the estate, Boniface whom is the caretaker - he looks after the pool and the garden. And Justina, whom looks after the house. Any problems and he would be happy to help.
