This comfy room is on the second floor of a wonderful home blocks from all the best restaurants, galleries, breweries, and coffee shops that make the Wynwood neighborhood such a hot destination.

The space

This is a wonderful shared home in a gated community in Wynwood Miami, just a few blocks from all the hustle and bustle of NW 2nd ave. The house is less than one block from a trolly stop, so you can take public transportation downtown. It's about a 10-minute drive to the beach. There is a covered patio if you feel like lounging at home, and TV with Netflix if you want to cozy up for a movie night. The hosts are friendly, and happy to suggest places for you to visit nearby. There's a shared bathroom on both the first and second floor.

Guest access

Guests may use all common spaces including the kitchen, and shared bathrooms. There is a covered porch and free street parking available outside the house.

Interaction with guests

We can be as involved as you'd like. We're friendly people and genuinely love hosting and meeting new people. We have lots of tips and can suggest great spots in Miami.

Other things to note

Wynwood is a transitioning area that borders Overtown, a historical African-American neighborhood. Miami in general is a very diverse place, which makes it a cultural mecca. Puerto Ricans began immigrating to Wynwood from the island and northeastern cities in the 1950s. Puerto Rican-owned restaurants, shops, markets and other businesses line the streets of Wynwood. Recently, however, the neighborhood has seen a push towards gentrification with increased investments and developments. Breweries, cafes, and art galleries are now in the mix. Gentrification in process!

Our stay at Bruce's Airbnb was really fun! Only a few minute walk from Wynwood Central. The rooms are lovely, kitchen clean and well equipped and both bathrooms nice as well! Really enjoyed the possibility of exchanging with other travellers staying there! Also uber and lyft are really cheap from the to get to South Beach etc.

Finding this place worked out perfectly. It's close to public transit, it's right in the art district with fun shops, breweries and restaurants near by.. and it's a quick drive to the beach! Bruce was so helpful and committed to making sure that I was comfortable and supported. The place was clean and comfortable. A smoke alarm battery was dying later the first night and Bruce changed it right away! I'm extremely thankful for the feeling of being safe and secure in a house with a few other strangers. I'm always worried about what will happen but they had locks for our own doors and the house was quiet... it was so nice! Thank you again!

Loved this home! My stay was awesome :)

Thank you very much for everything. The tips were really helpful. Clean, comfortable, modern accommodation for reasonable price. I highly recommend it to everybody. Thanks Bruce & Nicole

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean and comfortable. Bruce was very communicative so that checking in and out was a breeze. The experience was more like that of a hostel (with multiple, individual rooms, each locked for security and peace of mind and a shared bathroom) as opposed to a personal home, but that made it perfect for a place to crash in between day excursions through the city. Bruce and Nicole also provide nice extras like a recommendation list for local restaurants and sights and an accessible kitchen. Overall a great place to rest for a trip to Miami!

Bruce was a friendly, nice, responsive and communicative person. The house, room, and bathroom were clean and well stocked, but they were not like the ones shown on the pictures, AT ALL. We stayed in room 1. On Airbnb website shows there are a drawer, black framed bed and a box with ear plugs, some necessities and etc. which we did not see in the room. There was no drawer and the bed was spring box but comfortable. Also, there was a lack of information on Airbnb website/app about the house and sharing the one restroom with 3 other people from Airbnb. Even though the neighborhood was kind of sketchy and not giving you good vibes, there were full of street arts, graffities, and quiet. The house was about 12 minutes drive to the Miami beaches, restaurants, bars and clubs. I wouldn't recommend this location for a long vacation. The location and distance to the city is not convenient especially if you need to go back to the room from the beach and get ready to go out but it is a nice place for a staying for a night or if you have an interview in the town. MY EXPERIENCE: Just make sure that do not LEAVE anything in the rooms after checking out. They will get disappeared in the very short time. Overall, it was a nice place and we had a great time in Miami and Bruce's house.
