I would love to host you in my ground-level guest bedroom. My house is walking distance to the shopping and restaurants of Downtown Ames, and a mere two block from the Wheatsfield Co-op!

The space

Thank you for taking a look at my listing! I love hosting guests in my quirky little house. The house is in a laid-back neighborhood nestled between beautiful Brookside Park and Main Street where there are many opportunities for shopping, dining, and bar-hopping. As a guest, you will have the downstairs bedroom with access to a full bathroom (shared with me). Feel free to use the kitchen for any cooking needs, and help yourself to coffee in the morning. Make yourself at home in the living room with TV, movies, board games, and snuggles with my cat (Pinot Noir) or my dog (Bogie). I am a busy grad student at ISU, so I'm not home much during the day, but I'm always happy to offer tips for things to do and see in Ames, and am always available by phone or text.

Guest access

Guests are free to use the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and of course, guest bedroom.

Interaction with guests

I am usually around in the evenings and mornings to help guests with any needs!

Grace's place is a nice value for your money. Very close to a nice Co-Op Grocery store and other Restaurants downtown. It is a private room, but is connected to a shared bathroom that is connected to another bedroom. No one was using it when we were there though. Grace is very easy to get ahold of and is very nice. There are pets that share this home, but you wouldn't really know it (no noise or odors)! Overall great value!

Grace has a cozy home that is nicely furnished. The room is homey and the bed is comfortable. I enjoyed staying here and would stay again.

I am a grad student in Wildlife Ecology studying the ecoimmunology of small birds. I love dogs, and being outside is my favorite way to spend a day. Cooking is another of my favorite activities, and I love sharing food with others. I moved to Ames from San Francisco recently, and I'm loving the people and the pace of life. I do miss the mountains and the ocean, but I can be happy almost anywhere!
