We had the most amazing time staying at Marinda's home. This is a much loved and well lived in home and it is huge! So huge in fact that we didn't even use the front room! We had everything that you could possibly need for a 6 day stay..again because it is a family home rather than a holiday home it has everything for day to day use. Even though we did not meet Marinda, she was great at communicating with me leading up to and during our stay. Their house keeper, Ashia, is perfectly lovely and incredibly helpful. All the beds were very comfortable and we slept very well each night. A travel cot was provided for our youngest companion which was very much appreciated. The house is excellent for children as the owners have a plethora of toys for their grandchildren. The kids thoroughly enjoyed scooting about on the motorbikes :) We did have to move various display items up to higher realms so the children could not get to them. We would highly recommend this property to ANYBODY keen to explore Cape Town. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with secure parking and it's very easy to get to the airport and into Cape Town itself (traffic can be a bit iffy at times). We think it's particularly good for those on a family holiday - great outdoor space with pool and an awesome trampoline!

This house is the perfect starting point to get to know Cape Town and its surroundings. We were able to experience two wonderful weeks here. 4 generations under one roof on the other side of the earth .... fantastic. I can only recommend this place.

Marinda's house was the perfect place for my family to explore Cape Town and it's surroundings including the winelands around Stellenbosch! The house is clean and comfortable and has all ameneties necessary. Marinda is a warm and caring person who not only made sure we had everything we needed but also gave us valuble advise on what to see and where to go. I truly feel we came as guests and left as friends.

Marinda is an extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful host! We had a wonderful time with our two families of five. It's a big house with plenty of space, comfortable beds for 10 people, great garden for the kids (trampoline, pool, table tennis, board games, campfire spot,...). Kuilsrivier is not the most hip and trendy place to stay, but its very central location (30 minutes in every direction brings you to all the highlights in the Cape!) makes it perfect as 'operating base'. But most important of all: what a host! Highly recommended!

This is a spacious home that's perfect for a family (or families!) Lots for little ones to do including a pool, trampoline, and toys for the 5 and under crowd. Marinda went above and beyond our expectations as a host. This is their family's home, but when guests are here they stay up in a flat above the house. I was worried about the privacy, but it wasn't an issue at all. We never saw them unless we needed something. There is no fence around their yard and no bars on the window, which made me nervous at first. However, they do have an alarm system that guests can use and they assured us that it's a very safe neighborhood (no issues in over a decade living there). This is a great option out near wine country that can accommodate families comfortably. Highly recommended!
