Fraser's Gullah Homestay features traditional Gullah arts and crafts in a divinely inspired environment of relaxed elegance. The three themed bedrooms exhibit artifacts highlighting the rice, blacksmithing, and music traditions of the Gullah people.
Fraser's Gullah Homestay is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house with separate living room and dining areas, media lounge, granite countertop kitchen, sun deck and rose garden. During February, African AmericanHistory Month, Fraser's Gullah Homestay doubly immerses the visitor in the local culture with mini walking tours of neighborhood sites significant in African American History, including the Denmark Vesey statue and the story of the neighborhood, Noisette Farm, and its famous antique roses.
Guest's have access to one off-street parking space; sun deck; Noisette rose garden; washer/dryer; central climate control; television and WIFI.
Interaction with guests
Owner prefers to greet each guest personally at check-in and give a brief orientation to the house and neighborhood. Check-in time is 2:00pm, but if guests arrive later host tries to be available. Guest's arriving after 11:pm may receive an entry code and materials for self check-in.
Other things to note
Guests can play tennis, basketball or soccer 1 block away at a neighborhood park, stroll, jog, run or cycle in historic Hampton Park, or go fishing in the nearby Ashley River, within walking distance.
Guest License Agreement signature required on check-in. Guests agree to be responsible for damages caused by guests wilfully or negligently and to hold host harmless for any accidental loss.
