The space
The Cottage at Villa des Anges is perfect for a Caribbean retreat in Barbados. The cottage is spacious and open with a rich comfortable architectural design, vaulted ceilings and well appointed. Bedrooms are large, relaxing & air conditioned. The cottage is open concept and spacious at 2000 sq ft. Practically a villa residence on its own. It is also private with its own gardens, fountains, private covered parking as well as privacy walls, fences and hedges with its own private entrance access. The beaches of the calm waters of the St James west coast are inviting for swimming and snorkeling and are just a few steps away along our private gap/walkway. Barbados west coast beaches are calm, serene and not crowded.
The property also has a membership to the private Fairmont / Royal Pavilion Beach Club just steps away down the beach with extra included beach amenity access for our guests. Free Beach loungers, chairs, umbrellas as well as free Internet broadband wi-fi access at the beach club and extending out to the beach. There are many world class golf courses close by. Broadband WiFi Internet , New Smart TVs, washer, dryer, new appliances and A/C.
A once weekly clean, linen & towel change is included by permanent villa staff of 2 housekeepers. There is an option to pay a cleaning fee for additional villa cleaning, linen & towel change for $250 per day. For guests who would like to book the services of a Private chef, we can suggest & a number of options.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage residence. The cottage is a spacious 2000 sq ft space featuring rich interior design. Parking is easy as the cottage has its own private carport. It's also an easy 2 minute stroll down to the beach on our private Old Queens Fort Road.
The cottage features a master bedroom that has a well appointed en-suite bathroom. The other bedroom has access to a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 XL single beds that can be converted into a Monsieur bed. The bedrooms have a/c, ceiling fans, a safe for your personal items and valuables. There is also an Outdoor shower close to the en suite bathroom for when you return from the beach. The residence is surrounded by its own private lush tropical garden complete with water fountains, outdoor covered veranda/deck.

The property has a membership to the private Fairmont / Royal Pavilion Beach Club just steps away down the beach with extra included beach amenity access for our guests. Please note: There are several families of native Barbados green monkeys that live in the trees surrounding the property and the Old Queens Fort neighborhood. They are harmless and can sometimes be quite entertaining to watch. We ask guests not to feed the monkeys as this upsets their natural equilibrium with the environment & can cause behaviour issues.
