A cosy loft style room part of a traditional Welsh farmhouse on the mountain above the village of Newport Pembrokeshire .

The loft has a small kitchenette under the stairs and a living bedroom in a loft, 1 king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is space to eat outdoors and an orchard for your private use including a hammock in the summer. In the heart of the Pembrokeshire National park with walks on the doorstep, 5 minutes walk from the village.

The space
The Mountain Loft is part of a 200 year old farmhouse located on the side of Carningli mountain above the village of Newport Pembrokeshire. A stone's throw away from the village restaurants and shops and only a 15 minute walk to the beach, it makes the perfect base from which to explore the area.

It's perfect for an affordable stay in Newport or if you are attending a wedding.

Step out from your own front entrance directly onto the mountain and the famous Pembrokeshire Coast National park, a haven for wildlife.

Walk down a secret path to the village in 5 minutes.

There is free parking but no pets are allowed.

The Mountain Loft is a private space that is part of the farmhouse.

There is also an outside eating area and private access to an orchard with a hammock.

Wooden stairs lead to the living bedroom space which has a rustic feel to it with it's salvaged wood lined walls and traditional Welsh blankets and a lovely en-suite bathroom.

The comfortable king size bed has a brand new mattress and soft hotel bedlinen with new pillows.

Please note there is a boiler in the property which is timed to come on during the day and early evening in the winter and for an hour during the day in summer. These times can be changed if needed. Please ask the owner.

We regret the Mountain loft is not suitable for babies or children.

We also don't allow pets due to the abundance of wildlife and livestock. Sorry.

The Mountain Loft is in an area with traditional hill sheep farms, in a very quiet and peaceful part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Other things to note
The Mountain Loft is located in a very rural environment with livestock and wildlife in abundance. To get to the property you will have crossed a cattle grid. It is important that you close all gates when going through them to keep livestock out of the property and the village.

The garden and surrounding land is not suitable for dogs or any other domestic pets. Additionally we have two large farm cats and for these reasons guests are not permitted to bring pets to the property. Sorry.
