We celebrated the 80th birthday of our father with our family of 13 and rented the Riad Limouna for 4 days. Lovely house with 6 nice bedrooms. The patio is used for breakfast and dinner. Cosy lounge. The roof terrace is great with nice weather. We spend some time in the marquee lounge on the roof and enjoyed on the sun beds The staff is very helpful and made one evening a very nice Moroccan dinner. The location is just great. Easy to find and close to all highlights of Marrakech We did have some hick ups with the reservations as well as with the invoice upon check out.

First Of all, Marrakech is a great city with a lot of things to enjoy. But, the problems with Saïd started since the begining... First, Saïd called us 1 hour before our arrival to announce our Riyad is actually occupied by other clients and that they moved us to another place. It's okay... But we specially made a reservation for 6 rooms and we got only 4 rooms in the new place... We thought about to cancel our reservation but Saïd convince us to stay with free breakfast and one free diner. We accepted the deal to be cool and avoid him to have to pay the "cancel fee". He refuses also to decrease the price (4 rooms instead of 6) but we were comprehensive with him and wanted to enjoy our trip without mind troubles. We ate all our "free" breakfast and didn't ask for the "free" diner. But at the end, just before our departure, Saïd asked us to pay 100€ for taxes... But what taxes ?! Nothing was mentionned on the AirBnB !! For us it was too much because we accepted all the inconvenients and at the end he made us feel like ungreatfull... Too bad for him and this bad review but all these problems disturbed our trip in this beautifull city. Nevertheless, the place was nice and the rooms were clean and charming but all was not worth the price. Barney.

Response from Said:
Dear Barney, First off all thank you very much for your comment , i was waiting to get it . I'm very sorry that i take you to another riad but as i explain to it's the first time i have a double booking, it's true that i didn't told you that in advance, but what is important to me is the other place also mine and it's more luxe than the first one , you book 6 rooms that true in the other one you got 5 not 4 honestly. The choice was yours to cancel or to accept what i offerd you as breakfast "heavy breakfast not just a normal breakfast as all my guest" remembre what your friends ask me to prepare for breakfast " jus, eggs, paincake, coffe,khliaa,...etc" i didn't say no i just accept all that to make you happy. I also offered dinner and i was ready to cook for you but at end you said no it's ok so for me i offered you what i said. The rooms are bigger than the other , so you got 7 beds. The only thing i can't understand is that you don't want to pay even for the drinks 5o euros you didn't mention that in your comment, i can understand that you refuse to pay the city tax but why you don't want to pay even for drinks? we pay lot to have a permition to sell drinks in the riad so as you get the drinks you should pay what is very normal anywhere you go in the world. For me the money are not all what i'm looking for but i also want my guest to spend a great holiday and talk about me and my staff and my riad "House" in good way. You are a very nice group unfortunatly it's went like that and i'm very sorry for all that and hope to welcoming you again even all this happinig. Thanks again for your comments Said

Great place to stay. Very clean and accurate compared to the pictures. Said is an amazing host. He helped us get around town and provided us with anything we asked for. Location is great. Very close to the souk and main attractions. Riad is quiet so you get a really nice sleep at night! I am picky when it comes to choosing my airbnb but i was really satisfied with this Riad and it is a great value for money. Highly recommended

Said and Tarek were really nice hosts and welcomed us very warmly! We travelled as a group of 14 and the Riad was ideal: spacious, rooms perfectly clean and the rooftop terrace amazing! A very friendly woman served us breakfast in the morning and we also enjoyed her cooking skills on the day of arrival - the dinner was authentic, lavish and very delicious. The location of the Riad is perfect and after a little while finding back to the slightly hidden Riad in the maze of Marrakesh's Medina was no problem anymore. We really enjoyed our stay and I can only recommend this place for your visit in Marrakesh.

We stayed at Riad Limouna as a large group of 13 friends. From the time of booking, Said, our host, was friendly, communicative and fast to reply. He looked after our every request (and there were a number!!) and accommodated all our requirements. The riad itself is beautiful and great for a large group or smaller individual groups. It is bright, airy and spacious and has the most lovely roof terrace for sunbathing or reading a book. It is very well-located, only a few minutes walk to the closest cafes and not much further to the main square and shops. Both Said and his lovely staff team looked after us very well and we were able to organise transport and a number of other activities such as hammams and tours from the riad on arrival and prior to arriving. Highly recommend to all!! Such a great experience!!!
