Wow!! This place exceeded all of our expectations!! Definitely, plan to return in the future. Paco was wonderful and their home is just heavenly. We loved how silent and comfortable it was. Anytime we had an issue, Paco was able to resolve it quickly and with a big smile. We will return!

An authentic stone built house with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Up a bumpy route so get some supplies in before finding your accommodation. Paco came to meet us at the Arrieta service station and there is a little supermarket there. Lovely to be in the peace and quiet but so near the sea. Beautiful view!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay at a reasonable price, you couldn't do much better than here. Tucked away on a hillside overlooking Arrieta (about a 15 minute walk along a dirt-track to the town and beach, plenty of restaurants and two shops). The apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures and Maria and Paco are friendly and helpful with lot's of information about the local area and even bringing us bananas in the morning from their organic farm. We would wholeheartedly reccomend it and hope to return in the future.

Nice place, far for noises but the road to the place is not paved. Wifi was very weak. It was too cold for us during the night, I guess as it's an ecologic house there is no heating system. There were beautiful cactus outside the house. Graciela and Paco were great hosts and responded to our needs.

We enjoyed very much our stay in this energy neutral house. Full day sun on the terrace with a beautiful view on the ocean. As this house is located close to the mainroads, it is pretty convenient to start here your discovery of the northern part of Lanzarote. Plenty of information is available to set up your plans. Kitchen was well equipped, and the wifi signal was ok. Paco had a very good suggestion to visit a private cactus garden, which turned out to be a lovely experience.

Graciela and Paco were very nice and welcoming. They live next door, so are on hand if you need anything. Graciela was in contact with us regularly before our visit via text and email. The property is a few minutes drive out of Arrieta, in a fold in the hillside above the town. There is a dirt track access from the main road for a few hundred metres, but the track is perfectly serviceable. The property is a converted farm building in the local style, in a very quiet and peaceful spot. The surrounding area is scrub, with a few smallholdings. Definitely off the tourist route. There is a grocery store just outside Arrieta, which opens at 7.30, and has most of what you will need. Arrieta has some good fish restaurants, and is perfect for exploring the north of Lanzarote - the highlight probably being La Graciosa, great day out. The accommodation is fine, and there are 2 terraces/patios, on 2 different levels which are very private. Graciela gives you information on the water recycling system in use, and there are written instructions if you forget. It is obviously important to respect these for the system to work well. The hot water system was a bit erratic, but not really a problem in a warm climate. Good wifi, no TV...hurray! To sum up, it's not grand, but it's comfortable and peaceful, and great value. We are happy to recommend it.

If you like an relaxing environment this is a really nice place to stay! In walking distance from Arrietta and located in a less touristy area makes this a nice getaway! The place looks so much better than it does on the pictures.
