Isla Negra is the town where the house-museum of writer Pablo Neruda is. La Azulina is within walking distance of the museum. There is a lot of tranquility that has captivated many artists who have chosen to install their houses in this inspiring place.
La Azulina is an old house, rustic but very cozy. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with 2 beds and 1 double bedroom, two bathrooms, living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen.
In March - April - May 2017 we have made arrangements to the roof and the enlargement of the gallery. We want to keep improving ....
They have the whole house available.
Interaction with guests
I live in Santiago and a lady gives the key to the house. But any help and / or consultation, I will be available to help them, even to go to Isla Negra where possible.
Other things to note
The town, although not an island proper, was named after the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, when he saw a black rock in the sea, near his house in front of the ocean. This house, known as Casa de Isla Negra, is currently a museum managed by the Neruda Foundation, where the remains of the poet lie with those of his wife Matilde.
I hope they leave the house clean and tidy, although it is not necessary to do the general toilet.
I also prefer separation of garbage. In Isla Negra there are containers for glass and plastic
