Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the Bamboo Bungalows for two nights and to be honest, two nights was definitely enough.
The host who met us upon arrival was very nice.
The bungalows are set in a quaint, picturesque garden but unfortunately the endearing features of the bungalows stop there. The bungalows were incredibly small with just enough room to move around the bed situated in the main room. The bathroom was adequate, however the shower was always cold.
The WiFi in the premises was very slow and on occasion disconnected which made it difficult to use our phones and laptops. The windows and doors of the bungalow had quite substantial gaps allowing mosquitoes and lizards to enter the bungalow so I would advise those who don't like such creatures not to stay here. This meant every morning we were waking up with numerous bites leaving us sore and uncomfortable for the day ahead.
A good point to note is that the air conditioning was very effective and worked well within a few minutes of being switched off.
The bed in the bamboo bungalow was extremely hard which made it quite difficult to get comfortable each night.
Lastly, I did not find that the bamboo bungalows were secure, what with the gaps at the windows and door, and the door being held closed by a padlock, we did not feel we could leave our possessions unattended and ended up bringing all our valuables with us wherever we went. I did not see any CCTV in the premises either and there were no lockers to store any possessions safely.
Overall, it was certainly an experience to stay in the bamboo bungalows but neither myself nor my boyfriend would consider staying here again.
