The space
This tiny house is located in the back yard of my 1865 historic house located near the corner of Hancock Street and Broad Street in downtown New Bern. The entire place is at your disposal and is very private.

Guest access
The main house address is 406 Hancock Street and you can park in front of the house on Hancock Street or in the brick driveway, just leave room for another car.

Check-in is 1pm and Check-out is 11am, please send me a quick note to say when you've arrived and gone I'd really appreciate it!

Enter through the wood gate on the Right side of the house under the big elm tree near the mermaid and the cottage and enter the door code.

There is a list of bars and restaurants and instructions in the cottage. Enjoy your stay! Sarah

Other things to note
All surfaces are wiped clean with bleach spray and anti viral cleaning products. Sheets and towels are laundered with bleach in hot temperatures to clean throughly.

There is no cooking on premises but there is a microwave, sink, fridge, and coffee maker for your use. The bed is in a loft setting accessible with a regular stair but you enter the bed from the foot and not from the sides. If this is an issue for you please do not stay here.

I'm an architect with my own firm GO Architectural Design, PLLC in this lovely town. The main house was built in 1865 and where the tiny house stands there used to be an out building. When it rains bits and pieces of coal and pottery work their way up to the surface of the yard and I'm always finding little bits and pieces of history strewn around the yard. There are 2 lovely outdoor cats on the property. Spike who is my "orca" black and white kitty, and Ginger a.k.a. "killer" who regularly brings me "gifts" of the non-living sort and is really a ham and loves attention.
