The space

Fantastic location to Greenwich with direct transport links into central London (25 minutes) and Canary Wharf (12 minutes). Modern, very well furnished apartment in a safe neighbourhood with amenities on site including a gym, swimming pool & shops.


The apartment is in a secure and controlled area with phone-buzzer system with the DLR station right on your doorstep. There is an onsite gym and swimming/lap pool, a TESCO (supermarket) and even a Londis (convenience store).

The flat has everything you need, receives a lot of light during the day, is spacious and really quiet.

The living room has a large sofa and hosts a lovely view of the outside green area.

The kitchen has everything you could need (kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer) cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, cups, glasses, etc.

The bedroom is spacious with nicely fitted new, beige carpets, 'black-out' curtains (as it gets very bright in the summer) and plenty of cupboard space (the towels are kept in there).

Guest access

All of the apartment is available to the guests. You are encouraged to use the:

- Excellent nearby restaurants (takeaway/delivery menus have been provided in the kitchen drawer
- Washing machine
- Ironing board and iron
- Gym & pool (2 minute walk to the reception area)

Interaction with guests

The reception desk is opposite the apartment and is staffed 24 hours a day. The staff are friendly and will help with any general question with respect to the development or nearby facilities.

Any issues with the apartment should be raised via the hosts (Karen and Marvin) who are contactable via mobile. We can also cater to any German speakers as Marvin is fluent in that language.

Other things to note

The apartment location is fantastic for number of amenities, tourist attractions, and transport links to central London, Canary Wharf, Greenwich and the 02 events arena (Millennium Dome).

Children: There is an onsite green area and nearby basketball field, Ping-Pong table and playground.

Grocery Shopping: There is an onsite Tesco Express (supermarket) opens from 11am to 11pm, plus a Londis store (nearest ‘PayPoint’ location).

Food & Drink: There are many places to eat around open till very late (the Cutty Sark is just a 15 minute walk away) and we have also included copies of various restaurant takeway/delivery menus (should you be too tired to go out after a long day).

Nearby attractions and entertainment: Greenwich Village, the Royal Greenwich Park, Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory, Greenwich market and Picture house Cinema are all on your doorstep.


There are many ways of getting around from the apartment including the DLR, bus, train and Thames Clipper (boat):

* DLR (DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY) – you are literally on the doorstep (Deptford Bridge station)

The DLR service arrives every 4 mins at peak times and every 10 mins outside of this, taking you to:
- Canary Wharf in 12 mins
- Bank Station (the City) in 22 mins
- Tower Gateway (Tower Bridge) in 25 mins
- Stratford (Olympic site and Westfield shopping mall) in 27 mins
- London City Airport in 30 mins

By switching from the DLR to the underground (Jubilee line) at Canary Wharf, you can get to London Bridge in 20 mins and to West End in 25 mins.

New Cross & Greenwich stations are both less than 10 mins walk and will take you to some of the following key destinations:
- London Bridge in 5-7 mins (Southbank, Borough Market)
-Cannon Street in 10 mins
- Waterloo East in 10-12 mins
- Charing Cross in 14-16 mins (Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Leicester Square).

The Overground can be taken from New Cross station which is less than 10 mins walk and will take you to some of the following key destinations:
-Shoreditch High Street in 14 mins
-Surrey Quays and Canada Water in 5-8 mins

You are a 15 minute walk from the ‘Thames Clipper’ pier.
This is a very comfortable boat (catamaran) service which will provide you with excellent connections to all key stops (Canary Wharf, Tower of London, Embankment etc) but is a fantastic, reasonably priced alternative to the tourist boats that travel along the river Thames in the summer.

My husband and I stayed at Karen's flat for a month. We totally enjoyed the stay. We never had the opportunity to meet her as we only had to take the keys for check-in and check-out from the reception but the communication was all good. By the time we were staying, letting agents & potential tenants come to take a look at the house to lease. She made sure it wasn't uncomfortable for us & considered our schedule. On the day of the check-out, we had to deal with some damage which is sorted out smoothly.

We stayed a month in this apartment. The apartment was great, well equipped, everything was prepared well. The location is very convenient, easy reach of Deptford bridge DLR station, and local amenities including a selection of supermarkets and restaurants. Karen and Marvin are very kindness, helpful and thoughtful. We will definitely willingly be staying again.

We stayed 3 weeks in this apartment. Karen and Marvin are great hosts who are quick to respond and assist if/when needed. The house is modern, clean and comfortable - fully equipped kitchen with utensils, oil, pots & pans for cooking (though the dishwasher was out of bounds during our stay). The location is close to the DLR and an easy ride (or walk, 20 mins) into central Greenwich for the lovely market, cafes and shops. Quite easy to access Gatwick from this house via train, less than an hour. The gym next to the concierge is a nice bonus, with the standard machines such as treadmills, weight machines and free weights - which is pretty empty after 8am. Overall a nice stay and in a lovely area close to Greenwich.

No problems at all with this booking! Karen was not able to meet us in person, but the keys were left at the 24 hour concierge very near the actual apartment. The Location was perfect and the flat was as described.

A very nice stay, my partner and I arrived late to Karen's apartment due to the flight delayed but everything was prepared well for us with clean and accurate to the description and images . We didn't get to meet the host but they welcomed us very nicely with drinks, food and equipped items. Gym and indoor pool are at the reception building only a min walk, DLR just outside of the site which takes us 10 mins to Canary Wharf. Highly recommend to everyone who looks for pleasure stay.
