I had no idea what to expect of Reykjavik! Feel like I hit the jackpot with this place in regards to location. And Svava is a lovely host, everyone I met at the hostel was kind and followed the reasonable hostel rules. I only stayed two nights but the place was cleaned everyday and Svava gave me a map of Reykjavik and told me where to go to book tours and was always available to contact if you needed any help which I appreciated. This place definitely added to my positive Iceland experience and I'd recommend it highly! Thanks Svava

the best, most central location and a really adorable place that feels more like a large home than a hostel. the bathrooms and kitchen were both plenty big and i never had to wait to use either. they also had lots of outdoor seating where guests could relax which was very nice.

Great location in the heart of Reykjavik. Overall a smooth experience and no major issues! Would stay here again if seeking a hostel.

The hostel is a perfect location and close to travel information centres, bus stops, shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Beds were fairly comfortable and clean but space is limited for storage.

Fantastic little family run hostel, right in the middle of the shopping area of Reykjavik! Met a great group of new friends that would never have happened without the hostel. We even came back for one more night after our ring road trip.

I stayed only two days and i can honestly tell you best experience. I stayed 5 days in another place. No even close, everyone there gave me the warmest welcome i felt home. Very clean. They try to help you as much with tips about where to go. Arnar one of the brother directed me to a place to get an adaptor for my American phone. They are so friendly that for that i will be back and will stay at the same place if there anything available. Location is great close to everything very convinient. I gave them 5 stars. Awesome experience. I highly recommended. Thanks.
