Family-run hotel located in Zemun – old and bohemian part of the city. Our vision is to provide an endless pleasure and joy for the guests of our hotel. Extra-large comfortable beds in each room, great variety of breakfast choices, free WiFi access, peaceful terrace, extremely high importance of cleanness and walking distance to all attractions in Zemun are what make us unique.
Moreover, rooms in our hotel comprise a seating area with a sofa and a flat-screen TV with cable and satellite programs. Each room has also a desk, a minibar and electric kettle. The private bathrooms are fitted with a shower, towels, free toiletries and a hairdryer.
Villa Marija M.L. is situated in Bezanijska street, less than 100 m away from the Main street, and 500 m away from the Danube river and antique district Gardos. This part of Belgrade reminds of austro-hungarian times, because of its architecture. Gardos is a center of cultural and historical attractions, Sibinjanin Janko Tower, Nikolajevska Church and Zemun cemetery being just some of them. Gardos is famous for its restaurants, where you can eat fresh fish as well as traditional Serbian food.Besides, there are a lots of bars and serbian "kafana" with live music. "Kafana" is an absolute must-visit in order to completely understand Serbian culture.
Along the Danube promenade you can find countless bars, and clubs on the river (called "splavovi").
Furthermore, promenade offers a source of joy also for the youngest-an amusement park.
Great War Island, just 2,5 km from the Villa, is famous for the great variety of birds and its sand beach,which is a perfect refreshment for hot summer days. Bezanijska, as well as the Main and Gospodska street are offering a paradise for the fans of noncommercial shopping. Beside Gardos, Magistratski square (1 km) is highly recommended for bars and cafes.
