It's a perfect place to stay for exploring Stonehenge, Avebury, Jurassic Coast... When we came back, children loved playing at the farm

We enjoyed a great two night stay in Monty Lodge. The farm and it's inhabitants kept us amused and fascinated. We did miss having an oven, but played with the combination microwave - so we had fun cooking too. The lodge was clean and tidy, comfy beds and plenty of hot water. Heaters we efficient too. Overall we would recommend short stays in the lodge.

Great place to stay if you want some peace and quiet in the countryside. My boys loved exploring the farm visiting the horses, shetland ponys, donkeys, pig, lambs and sheep. The farm hand even let them have a go at feeding two orphaned twin lambs! The cabin is lovely and snug and just the right size for a family of four. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped but worth bearing in mind there is a hob but not an oven when planning your meals. We will definitely be returning!

Cute small cottage in secluded spot on the edge of beautiful village Teffont Magna. Tony supplied basics - milk, butter, bread and wine on arrival which was lovely but if you want to cook own meals, best have packed your stuff beforehand as shops not close (that we found). Good location for exploring Stonehenge and we went to Bath easily enough from here and not far from London.

Monty Lodge is a beautiful place to stay in a picturesque village. It was lovely to wake up surrounded by farm animals, especially during lambing season. Tony was extremely welcoming, and we all had a relaxing stay, including our dog, who had a ball!

We run a small family farm in beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Specialising in rare-breed sheep and horses and ponies you would be welcome to come and say hello as we work on the farm or just relax or visit the area: Salisbury, Longleat, Bournemouth, etc
