Maison Leloup is clean, bright and well maintained with modern appliances combined with the traditional charm of an old French village house.
The house is ideal for two families who want a bit of privacy from one another; the small house hosting a double bedroom and the large house hosting a family room and a double along with a play room equipped with games,toys, crayons and a TV with DVD and children's DVD's and is ideal for entertaining young children on wet days.
The house has fans in every bedroom which are great in the height of summer for a restful sleep. In winter there are wonderful wood burners in both the kitchen and living room which provide fantastic warmth. In addition there is electric wall heaters in every bedroom and bathroom to keep the chill out.
The walled garden is a private space with enough room for sun loungers, barbecuing and picnicking. It is safe with a child gate preventing access to the steps that lead down into a lower section of the garden used primarily for access into the cellar and into the alley at the rear of the property.
In the upper garden there is a picnic table and a gas barbecue, ideal for eating alfresco. Umbrellas are provided for sun shade.
Spend the evenings sipping wine, smelling the sweet fragrances from the garden. Watch the bats in early evening and the satellites flying overhead. Make a candle lit grotto and enjoy the warm evening air.
Parking is on street or in the village car park on the other side of the church. Note the house is opposite the church, so parking is less than 30 seconds from the front door. There is minimal concern for the safety and security of your vehicle.
The entire house is open for your use with the exception of one cupboard in the play room which remains under padlock and key as it houses cleaning materials.
Interaction with guests
Contact number for help at hand during your stay is with Rosaline Citharel who lives close by and looks after our house when we are not there. Rosaline’s Mob is made available on booking. If Rosaline cannot meet you it is possible to let yourself into the premises using a key which is retrieved from a key safe box at the rear of the house. Details would be made available on booking.

Notes on prices

Changeover (dep by 10:30, arrive 16:30 earliest) normally Saturday, though may be flexible.
Non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday must be paid at the time of booking via electronic transfer. Details would be made available on booking.
A £250 deposit is also required at the time of booking to cover for any damages or breakages. The deposit would also be transferred electronically and returned in full at the end of your stay following checks on the property and contents.
The balance of the holiday must be paid in full four weeks before the start date.
Please just take care of the house as if it is your own and treat it with respect and keep it clean.
Be respectful of the neighbors,do not create a nuance with noise,drink and bad behavior.
No more than 7 adults and 1 baby may use the house for any one booking.
