The space

This apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful palazzo and is furnished and decorated in a classical Florentine style. Shades of yellow and blu coupled with rustic wood paneling gives a particularly cozy feeling. The apartment is composted of a large living room with a sofa, dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small balcony, one cozy double bedroom, one double sofa bed and a large bathroom with a shower stall. This apartment is especially suitable for families with children due to the space, or for younger travelers given its proximity to areas with plenty of nightlife.

This apartment is right in the heart of Florence. You really couldn't ask for a better location. The apartment was quite large and had a little kitchen for cooking. The street was quite noisy and I wouldn't recommend this location for light sleepers.

When we arrived at the flat, we got there early and were told we could check in at 3 pm. Once we got in we were told and saw that the people before us left late and they had not cleaned yet so we were pretty much told to leave our luggage and kicked out. The cleaning people were so nice about it because we had to change out of our travel clothes and we were in their way but they didn't seem to mind! Also when we got there we were told about a city tourist tax charge that we had to pay and that was supposed to be on the house rules section. I looked that up later on their house rules but it was not there. Also this place was run through a company and not just a person so that was also a little weird too. We did run out of toilet paper half way through our stay and I messaged the person I booked with to get more but never got a response. We had to buy our own, which it does say it is included so I wasn't happy about that. My family and I also had a very hard time with the door one night, to the point where I got locked out while my family was locked in and had to wait an hour for someone to show up with the original set of keys. Not a pleasant experience at all! The wifi is also horrible here so don't expect to use it, we had better wifi on the bus tour we took! Overall I was not too happy with my stay here, the pictures make the place look so much nicer than it really is and I would only recommend this place for a few nights stay and for the location!

It's a really nice place that is close to very thing! However, the room close to the street can get a bit noisy at night especially on weekends because people will be out clubbing and some will pass by Via dei Neri on their way home. The mornings aren't too bad but once the day starts it will be very lively because of all'antico vinaio. I actually enjoyed the liveliness a lot and watching the crowd outside the window. Another thing was that there wasn't any shampoo and not enough shower gel and toilet paper to use for my five day stay. Because I stayed here by myself it was a bit expensive but for a family or group of friends it should be just right.

Andrea has a great place, well located. It's up one steep flight of stairs. One of us slept in the living room area on a comfortable pullout and the other in the bedroom which had more light. The amenities were as pictured, very pretty and spotless. Andrea's assistant gave me good tips on restaurants and how to get around. The wireless was a little spotty. The temperature was perfect for the time of year (April).
