South Bend is a great place for sports and education. If you find yourself here, I have a great place for you to stay. The bedroom in this mid-century modern ranch accommodates two guests. The home is my primary residence. I am happy to share the kitchen and living area. It’s comfortable and welcoming.

The space
This bedroom in a cozy 1960's era ranch style home just north of Notre Dame campus is perfect for football weekends or other South Bend activities. The bedroom has one queen bed, a big closet and a desk. My home has two full bathrooms. The guest bathroom entrance is in the hallway. The guest will have a private bathroom. There is also a fold out couch and an air mattress for additional people. The refrigerator and bar will be stocked with your favorite beverages upon request.

I have two bicycles if you would like ride around town or to campus. The house is very close to the bike trails that connect the area. It is fun way to enjoy the outdoors or get to campus.

The home has an open floor plan with a big living room with cable TV and wireless internet. There is also a large patio with a fire pit and gas grill. The full kitchen has newer major appliances, and additionally a Nepresso maker and a Soda Stream. Laundry is located on the main level. All these amenities are nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of parking in the driveway.

The house is conveniently located within walking distance, one mile, to Notre Dame campus and also very close to numerous restaurants and shopping.

Please inquire about renting the whole house during the week, or for football weekends, the house is available for $1200.

I lead a study abroad program with a group of students from IU to Florence, Italy. I speak just a little Italian. I am also studying French now. I have been to many parts of the continental US. I am partial to the midwest and the Third Coast. If you are in South Bend to visit the Golden Dome, cheer on the Irish or their opponent, or for a specific research project, let me know.
