In 2023 my son Guglielmo and I decided to restore the old oratory of a church from the 1600s by creating a two floor apartment: upstairs we have 2 bedrooms equipped with AC and 2 en-suite bathrooms with shower; downstairs a spacious living room with stereo

The space
In 2023 my son Guglielmo and I decided to restore the old oratory of a church from the 1600s by creating a two floor apartment: upstairs we have 2 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and 2 en-suite bathrooms; downstairs a spacious living room equipped with a traditional stereo system for vinyl records and CDs. For all information you can easily find our 4 private apartments in Castoldi apartments.

You can also find a great selection of Tuscan , Piemont,Burgundy and Champagne wines. The view of the hills of Gracciano Valley and Orcia valley is like that of the our other apartments...very suggestive. There is also an outdoor corner with landscape where you can drink a glass of wine or a coffee
In summer 2025, a small private garden 50 meters away from the apartment will be available to our guests
. From 2026 the wine tasting will be available only after 7 pm
Starting from springtime 2026 we will organize grilled meat/fish and vegetables in the garden after 7 pm with paired wines
Thursday is the day of the market.
Luca will be able to order the fresh fish that arrives every week from Porto Santo Stefano and from the Tuscan coasts.
Obviously the fish will be available only Thursday and Friday.


Available also a private chef for dinner or cooking class.

Parking is free (no restricted traffic zone) and close to the apartment, on the road just outside the Great Arch. The "Under the Sunset" apartment is located in one of the quietest and most panoramic areas of Montepulciano. Luca and Guglielmo or a member of staff will be waiting for you. Self check-in is possible.

We will give guests accurate information a few days before check-in.
Guests can park in our private garden or on the street.
The parking lot is very close to the house, but please remember that Montepulciano is a small mountain town, unfortunately not suitable for those with walking problems.
It is not a flat area, but everything is very close to the apartments.
Guests are asked to carefully follow the precise instructions that will be given and to communicate their arrival times.
Only then can we assist you with parking your car.

Starting from April 2026 in the garden of our 4 apartments we will organize grilled meat and vegetables with paired wines.
we will take care of buying meat and vegetables and organizing the garden barbecue.
Victor will be available from 7pm and in any case if you like, while he prepares dinner he will also talk to you about wine.
