The full apartment is yours to enjoy.

I'm generally here, as I live in the apartment directly below this one, and am able to help as much as you'd like. If for any reason, I'm out of town, I'm easily accessible by phone, text or email.

I absolutely love Brownstone Brooklyn and Boerum Hill is arguably the most convenient of all the brownstone neighborhoods. With the F train around the corner, you're in the city in 10 minutes or less and midtown in 25. But if you decide to explore the 'hood, you get all of the hip with none of the hassle. Enjoy an urban and urbane environment of boutiques, cafes and tree-lined streets. I find it the perfect place to relax after buzzing around Manhattan!

You can easily enjoy a walk along Brooklyn's Promenade with its unparalleled view of Manhattan or enjoy the view as you walk TO or FROM Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge. It's about 15 minutes from the house!

This is a superb place for a new York holiday. The apartment is exactly as it appears on the photographs - spacious and absolutely spotless. It is in a lovely part of Brooklyn, close to the subway and lots of shops and restaurants. Noreen is on hand to help with anything you need - she helpfully took delivery of some tickets for us, and arranged a car.

This was a terrific apartment. The communal space was extremely comfortable, even for five of us! It had all the amenities that could be required for a vacation stay. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. Noreen was an excellent host. She allowed us to check in early and to leave luggage in the hallway for a late flight. She also advised us on a taxi firm with very competitive rates. The neighbourhood around Dean Street is a major experience in its own right; full of life, good restaurants etc. We found its inhabitants generally helpful and unthreatening. Brooklyn, as a whole, has much to offer. We would particularly recommend a walk along the Promenade and, if you like steak, a visit to Peter Luger. Additionally, subway stations that will take one to Manhattan in one direction, or to Coney Island in the other, are literally 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. Overall, a great experience. We will return if it's not always booked up!

We highly recommend Noreen's apartment in Brooklyn as a perfect base for a visit to New York. Very well appointed with everything one needs to have a home from home. Absolutely as described. We found getting to Manhattan quick and easy using the subway which is conveniently located and found the many restaurants and shops locally to be more than adequate. Not as busy as Manhattan, it feels like you can get away from it all after a long day visiting all the sights and Noreen's apartment with its air conditioning and comfy sofa/chair/beds made for a perfect oasis.

Noreen was very welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed during our trip (including a third bed/mattress for our extra guest). The apartment was extremely clean and it couldn't have been located in a better area (literally 1min walk form Smith Street where there are several cafes, bars and restaurants). All in all this was a great experience, and I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Noreen, Alex

Noreen was a fantastic and friendly host to her wonderful 2BR Brownstone in Brooklyn. She had obviously made a lot of effort in preparing for us to stay - High Quality fresh bedding and towels were available, brand new appliances and a selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and wine made us feel right at home. We enjoyed watching the Television with Apple TV, and playing on the Xbox Kinnect! The apartment itself is extremely comfortable, and nicely decorated. It's in a great location - just yards from Smith Street where a number of great bars and restaurants can be found... Noreen also gave us some great advice on where to go for good food and drink close-by. The local transport is very close, with the N,F,C trains all within a short walk. Noreen's really is the perfect place to stop by if you are visiting the area - we will definitely be paying her and Baxter another visit!

Passionate traveler and animal-lover....thrilled dog-mommy to Baxter, a pretty well-behaved Boxer/Pit, although he gets props for his own version of willfulness...we respect that a lot in this household...within reason!
If I can combine a trip and a U2 concert...well, that's a done deal!
Born n'Raised Brooklyn Girl...happy to provide tips on the popular and arcane! Growing up, going to Broadway shows was a major plus!
Writer/Creative Director in Media with personal focus on spiritual exploration/development.
Big fan of delicious bold red an icy pint of a crisp ale.
I love people...the stories they hold, the laughs and insights that are inevitably shared...I kinda run my home like a b'n'b for dear friends and family, so I thought, hey, why not extend the circle (and pay for my next sabbatical...)
C'mon, rent my place and help finance my play!! I'll share credits on opening night!
