Our Home is located in a great neighborhood and just a block away from one of the worlds top 10 beaches.
Are are you in transition and need a temporary place to live? Are you Military Relocating to Hawaii and looking for a month to month rental to call home. Well look no further. Imagine not having to live out of a hotel and your suit case for months, but instead relaxing in a 2 bedroom 1 bath furnished home where you can be surrounded by the luxuries of Old Hawaii. You can let your troubles melt away on one of the world's top ten beaches, that awaits you a block from your Hawaiian cottage. It's like a vacation but you can call it your temporary home.
The property has two homes on it with the front house being rented to a long term tenant.
Other things to note
We want everyone's stay to be as enjoyable as possible. Please respect these rules.
1. We respect our neighbors so keep quiet hours between 10 pm- 8 am.
2. There is no smoking on premise.
3. Only registered guests on the property.
4. There is a no party policy.
5. It is customary in Hawaii to walk bare foot indoors, so please take off your shoes/slippers (flip flops). If your feet are sandy/dirty, please use the hose outside to wash off.
6. We live in the tropics and have bugs. Please help us by throwing away your trash, and if you are staying at the cottage on a Friday night, take the grey trash bin out to the curb for trash pick up on Saturday morning. There are trash bags for your convenience.
7. Please do not use our towels for cleaning. If you need to clean something, there are rags on the bottom shelf of the kitchen pantry.
8. There is cable TV and wifi internet access for your convenience.
9. There is a one time $185 cleaning fee.
10. All taxes are included in the daily price.
11. Please love our home and treat it as your own, so others can continue to enjoy it as well!
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY (4) - 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
PETS - Only small pets approved by the owner will be aloud to stay on the premises. We will require you to send a letter of recommendation and a certificate from the pet's veterinary Doctor that states the pet is up to date on all his/her shots.
YARD SERVICE - Yard service is included. They come every other Monday at 10am starting January 25th.
DEPOSIT - The tenants deposit will be returned within 2 weeks of departure date.
PARKING - There is parking available for two vehicles parked one behind the other in the driveway of the home. Guest can park on the street.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD – These bungalows are in a neighborhood community - guests are welcome who can harmonize with the easy flow here. And, all conversations, music & tvs need to be mellowed by 9pm Sun-Thurs and 10pm Fri-Sat.
LONG TERM TENANT RESPONSIBILITY - Tenants agree to maintain and properly use and operate all electrical, plumbing and other fixtures and appliances supplied. Tenant is responsible for ordinary maintenance including replacing light bulbs, air conditioning filters, batteries for smoke/monoxide detectors, checking for plumbing leaks, checking the dryer hose for buildup and other items if applicable. Tenant is responsible for the repair of any stoppage in plumbing fixtures or line, and any damage caused by himself, members of his family or guests, unless noted by a professional plumber that it was out of the tenants control for the blockage. Tenant is responsible to be considerate of the usage of electricity because we believe in minimizing our carbon footprint on the earth. Tenants will be responsible for any indoor pests, therefore, please do not leave food out on the counters.
This unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Our Community insurance policy does not cover damage by fire, water, or any other cause to a resident's personal property located in the house or anywhere on the community property. Each tenant is responsible for obtaining renter's insurance coverage. The property you have inquired about will be rented in as-is condition unless you have submitted in writing within 24 hours of moving in.
Long term tenants will need to pay a $600 deposit due 30 days prior to arrival.
LONG TERM TENANT RESPONSIBILITY FOR MOVING OUT - There is no maid service, therefore tenant will not be charged a cleaning fee by the owner and it is the Tenants responsibility to have the house PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED at tenants expense and a receipt to be provided to owner. Walls must be returned to the original condition and window/screens must be cleaned. The property is to be left in the same condition as when the tenant took occupancy. If the house is not left in the same condition as when the tenant took occupancy, the $600 deposit will be used towards hiring a professional house cleaner. Should the tenant require cleaning service referrals the owner will provide them upon request.
NOTICE OF TERMINATION - If the Tenant is staying for more than 30 days and because this will be a month to month lease a Notice of termination must be given in writing 30 days prior to moving.
CANCELATION - We have a strict cancelation policy. A cancelation made 30 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit and or any rents paid. Any cancelation made within 29 days of arrival date will receive a 50% return of deposit and any rents paid.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
