This is a lovely property with loads of space both inside and out. Johanna was great and fast with the communication and very helpful. Having a lockbox with the front door key so we were able to arrive in the middle of the night was great. Minor grumbles or things to be aware of: One bedroom window had no curtains or blinds and in another bedroom the blind had to be balanced rather precariously to cover the window at night. There wasn't really space for us to unpack (we were staying for a week), for shorter stays is less of an issue. Basic instruction on using the TV/cable/streamer and the washer and dryer would have been nice. Overall, though, we would very happily stay here again and recommend the house to anyone.

We (5 adults, 3 kids) stayed at Johanna's place over the Thanksgiving weekend. The location was great, allowing us to hike and explore the area with ease. The property was great for the kids (and adults! ) to play. The house was comfortable and cozy, and all information was provided efficiency via online communication with Johanna and on the premises (written ). It was a lovely place to spend the long weekend with my family.

We felt at home immediately. Beautiful property and clean, comfortable, well-equipped house. After hiking the Bruce Trail we loved coming back to such a friendly and welcoming place. Would stay again!

Johanna was the perfect host! She was always prompt to answer any questions leading up to our stay, and while we were there, she checked in (via email) to ensure everything was satisfactory. Her home is warm and inviting and was the perfect setting for our weekend get-away. There were 6 of us staying there, and it never felt like we were on top of each other. The grounds were perfect for the kids to run about and play. We made good use of the croquet and badminton sets that were there. There's a wood burning stove and a fire pit outside, but we didn't get the chance to enjoy either of them. I highly recommend Johanna's place. It's such a charming place to stay. It's clean, comfortable, and really feels like a home.

Returning to Johanna's place after a day of exploring and hiking was like coming home - except that the beds, linens, pillows, view, silence, and front porch were much nicer! Delighted to discover access points to the Beaver River on highway 13.

Fantastic modern farmhouse that has still kept its antique charm. The place is beautiful inside and out plus it's very spacious. Johanna was an excellent host and very responsive. The location was very close to Eugenia Lake and the local amenities. The fire pit was also very nice to enjoy at night and we appreciated all the precut wood. I highly recommend Johanna's Air Bnb!
