We had a wonderful 2-night stay with Leonard and Miriam as hosts. Prior to booking, Miriam responded to questions quickly and gave great suggestions for restaurants in the area. Their home is clean and comfortable and little details from water and snacks in the mini fridge to chocolates on our bed stands made our stay special. Breakfast was 5-star both days! We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Miriam and Leonard were gracious and attentive hosts. The home is set in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded with lovely trees and blooming rhododendrons. They also have an adorable dog, Frodo. Most of all Miriam is an excellent, accommodating chef who is always amenable to personal dietary needs. The bed and bathrooms are extremely comfortable and roomy. I will always recommend this Airbnb in Ithaca and personally would like to come back again.

Miriam and Leonard are the consummate hosts--very hospitable and knowledgeable. They treat guests like family. They live in a beautiful split level home that is tucked quietly in the woods and backs up to a private golf course. When the trees have leaves, the nearby homes and golf course are not visible. Leonard is a 1969 graduate of Cornell and is a great source of information about the university, which is less than a mile from their home. Miriam is an awesome cook and conversationalist. She prepared delicious breakfasts that were served on ceramic plates imported from Italy. Her home style cooking is much better than IHOP. In addition to the typical American fare, she even prepared a delicious Moroccan breakfast with eggs cooked with tomatoes and various spices. She also served a bowl of assorted fruits prior to the main meal. Their home is decorated with antique furniture and artwork. Their son is a world class cellist and our bedroom held several cellist themed ceramic statuary. Our bathroom had all the modern features including a frameless walk-in shower. I presume our bedroom was once their son's because it even had tiny reflective planets, stars and comets on the ceiling that reminded me of my own childhood as I gazed up at them in the darkness prior to falling asleep. I highly recommend them and their B&B.

Miriam and Leonard made us very welcome in their home, and they were a delight to chat with. Their beautifully kept home is filled with art and memories from much travel. We stayed in one of the two first floor rooms, both of which were bright and cheery. The neighborhood was very quiet (next to a golf course) and was great for our morning walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast chats with them, and Miriam's fruit cups are amazing. :-)

My husband and I are retired, our children are grown. And "Frodo" our Boston Terrier loves people and enjoys hosting them at our house and so do we. We are looking forward to meeting you.
