A cosy terraced cottage in the heart of a small village, ideally suited for couples looking to get away from it all and relax. Sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms, a great spot to explore the Solway Coast and the beautiful region of Dumfries and Galloway.

Well behaved pets welcome by prior arrangement - charges apply.

The space

Entrance to the cottage is off the street directly into a hallway, off which there is a living room with plenty of character and sympathetically furnished to suit the style of the cottage - there is a large open fire in the lounge and coal is provided by the owner. There is a dining table and chairs in the lounge. The recently refurbished kitchen is located to the back of the property and is equipped with all mod cons you would expect in a self catering holiday home with hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also the added benefit of an espresso coffee machine. The modern shower room has a large shower cubicle and WC is also located downstairs.

Upstairs off the hallway is the main bedroom which has two single beds as well as a separate bedroom with a single cabin bed. Please note that this is slightly higher than a normal bed so may be an issue for young children.

The cottage has a separate garden which is accessed down a shared pathway opposite the property itself and accessed through a wooden gate and has a patio surrounded by established bed. An ideal spot for a morning coffee, or a quiet glass of wine in the evening.
