About this listing

The space

I provide pleasant and cleaned up rooms with private bathroom, autonomous heater/air conditioner, double glazing, mini-fridge, hairdrier and alarm-radio-clock.
The building is from 1880.
Breakfast is included, but starting from April 2015 is no longer served at home but in a nice snack bar nearby (the law about B&B has changed and before I can service breakfast again I must comply with the new rules).
My B&B is also gifted with the typical Italian warmth and welcoming of a house inhabited by a real family.
Since 1999, I have been managing my B&B with the precious help of my mother Elvira. We personally deal with every aspect of the B&B: from the reception to the final greeting before your departure. We do not delegate things to others because we want to be sure of the good result.
Personally managing an activity as such it means to provide deep cleaning of all rooms, bathrooms and common areas; washing and sterilisation of towels and leanen; care in the choice of furniture and wish to improve the offered services; personally serving breakfast.
This also means the possibility to apply competitive prices and an excellent quality/price relationship.
In addition, we are always present in order to satisfy your needs and answer to your questions, advising you on places where to eat or do shopping, organise trips aoutside Rome, tours in the city (because the beauty of Rome is not only linked to its museums, monuments, squares and churces, neighborhoods but also to its small roads and unique athmosphere to live and taste before reaching the most famous places).

So...what do you do? Are you coming?

N.B.: tax on the stay not included (€ 3,5 per person per night), and it must be paid at arrival

Beforehand Sergio sent us clear directions on how to get to the apartment. Upon arrival he recommended us a couple of nice restaurants, some amazing sights and gave us more information about how to get there using public transportation. This was helpful. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. The apartment is close to a lot of sights (walking distance) and there is a metrostation close by. We had a wonderful stay!

My partner and I stayed at Sergio's for 5 nights in the blue bedroom. The whole apartment was very clean and tidy, and our room was excellent. Sergio and his family made up the bed each day and provided us with new towels upon request. The bed was very comfortable and large enough for the two of us (5ft 10 and 6ft 4). It has wonderful air conditioning (an excellent retreat from the sun!) and the high ceilings gave a great feeling of space. Sergio was an excellent host- he was there to meet us at check in, and drew up a map marking essential places (supermarket, best ice cream place in Rome, a nice restaurant) as well as details of metros and bus routes. I was particularly impressed as he was able to recommend more 'quirky' places when I quizzed him. He also gave us vouchers for a cafe a 2min walk away from which we could get a morning cappucino and croissant. The room was quiet and peaceful (the windows and shutters easily bloxking out the noise of the road and trams), and the apartment was in a good location (very close to Termini station and a 20min walk to the Colosseum). It was also lovely to meet his mother who lives in the apartment. Overall we had an excellent time at Sergio's and would highly recommend his room.

Sergio is very good at making sure you know how to get to the apartment and welcomed us when we arrived. He was great to show us how to get around Rome on the map and ideas of where to eat. This apartment is close to everything and easy to use public transport from here. A must is the Fassi gelato shop one block away! Great gelato at great prices. Look for the queue of locals! I highly recommend this apartment stay in Rome!

Sergio was a great host! He was extremely helpful and enthusiastic about providing his guests with information about the city, as well as suggesting good places to eat or get a good view of Rome. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The en suite bathroom was nice as well!

We had such a great time in Rome staying at Sergio's place. We had a lot of privacy, and it was very comfortable. Sergio was available to answer any questions we had and showed us everything we needed to know about Rome. We will definitely stay again for future travels.

Sergio was a lovely host and meet us upon our arrival at this location. The room was very tidy and just what we had hoped for. The cafe just down the road, where cappuccino and cornetti helped get us over our jet lag, was another pleasant surprise. Incredibly convenient for Termini travel.
