I was very pleased with the house. I fell in love with the lake in the back. It's a great place if you wanna take your kids or friends. The best part about it was Ms Sue. She was there for me anytime I needed help. Had the best southern hospitality you could ever imagine. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone!

Butler was very helpful, as was the neighbor who was always there to help with anything. The camp was even nicer than we expected. The hammocks and swings downstairs were the only place we could find my little brother. We had lots of fun fishing and crabbing off the dock.

The location of the house was in proximity to super market, restaurants and mall. Sue was incredible with her Southern hospitality. She ensured we had everything we needed in the house each day of our stay. It was a great experience and exactly what we needed for our stay.

We absolutely loved our visit to Slidell. The home was wonderful and a great location. We were able to have flexible check in time. The neighbors were wonderful and very welcoming. We were given great advice for services and places to visit. We were so comfortable it felt like home. Very quiet and relaxing visit which was just what we needed. We really hated to leave.

This was our very first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful. Butler was extremely helpful and patient while answering all of my questions about the property. The open floor plan and abundance of windows make this a perfect destination for a large family or a group of friends. We caught and boiled about 9 dozen crabs (there's a boiler and pot in downstairs storage) in 2 days. The neighbors on either side were very hospitable and gave us a lot of great advice on crabbing and fishing. The downstairs area is very large and is mostly covered - even from rain. I've never had such a hard time leaving a vacation property . . . and we only live an hour away!!

I am a native New Orleanian. This is my 6th water front camp and the best one yet. I love fishing, boating, water sports and eating sea food. All of which can be done well here at "Camp Port of Call" !

I named the camp after one of the great local spots just outside of the French Quarter.
