House Rules

Strictly no smoking is allowed in the bedrooms and elsewhere inside the building, including our communal toilets and cloak room facilities. A designated smoking area is located at the parking area at the rear of the building. No smoking is allowed at the front of the building. A surcharge of R1000 per room will be levied and invoiced to you for cleaning of the room should evidence of smoking be detected. Charges are not limited to R1000 per room should there be permanent damage caused by cigarette burns; repair or replacement costs would apply in this case and charged above and beyond the R1000 cleaning costs.
Strictly no alcoholic beverages may be stored or consumed on the premises
It remains the responsibility of the organiser/leader to inform all members of their group regarding the above rules prior to arrival.
No visitors are allowed in our bedrooms for security and other reasons. Visitors may be met in our restaurant.

The Helpmin Accommodation, Conference & Function Venue, trading as The Helpmin Hotel is managed by the H.E.L.P. Ministries International Trust, (established 1994). All the proceeds of our establishment are in aid of our soup kitchen project which has a commitment to feed 5,000 school children and 1,000 unemployed adults with soup and bread on a daily basis. Stay at the Helpmin Hotel and help to provide vital daily nutrition to the underprivileged children and unemployed adults of Cape Town.
