Our stay in Brighton was wonderful and the flat was great. Really close to the station and to the centre, including a great pizza place (Fatto a Mano). Heike was very helpful!

Excellent location for all amenities. An old Cottage so not the Uber modern place but that’s what makes this place great. 5 minutes walk to the beach and step out to the bars, cafes and Independant shops.

The cottage was clean and cossy. It looks much bigger in the photos than in person. I was expecting more than what I saw. It will be fine just for two people, more than two it's too tight. Great location.

Response from Heike:
Hello Arantzazu. I am sorry you felt that the house was small; If you had read my listing, it does point out that it is a' 200 year-old cottage built for local fishermen, and not to expect large spaces'. I am surprised you felt that way as you really seemed to like it when I showed you around. I would have preferred real-life feedback there and then, but then, that's life! To any prospective guests - I've had over 200 guests, many of them families, and as you can see from their reviews, they all loved it. And the pictures were taken by a professional, AirBnb- approved photographer- so there!

Heike was a wonderful host! So sweet, she welcomed us and gave us clear instructions about the accommodation. The only things that wasn't perfect was the construction next to the house (unfortunate), the moist air (in the mornings we had to put on damp clothes etc. Yes, the hou…

Response from Heike:
Hi Emmy. Thank you for the feedback. It says clearly in my listing that there is construction work going on in my street this summer. But they don't happen on weekends/ bank holidays (you were here for a Bank Holiday weekend), and only after 9AM on weekdays. Also the breakfast, again AS IT SAYS in my listing, are INITIAL breakfast supplies: Orange juice, Milk, a selection of cereals, Tea and Coffee. There is also a good selection of spices, vinegar, oil in case people want to cook some food. I am finding this very strange you would call that "leftovers". The house does not suffer from dampness- I make it quite clear in my manual that guests must open the windows after their showers to let air circulate. I live in the house myself and have NEVER noticed my clothes being damp?! Nor have any of my other guests....Very strange. However, I am glad that all these niggles did not put you off from booking again! The construction work will finish next February so maybe when you come back next summer you will be happier.
