Your cozy chalet comes with a private garden and forest entrance. Surrounded by beauty, peace and quietness, you have the tough choice between relaxing, hiking the Jurassic with its stunning trails and canyons, enjoying the Bern Lake Region or exploring UNESCO World Heritage city of Bern 30 min away. Unless you prefer using the chalet as your perfect home office, of course. Either way, a short walk through a beautiful nature reserve brings you to a river for a refreshing dip.

The space
The 80m2 chalet sits in the back garden of a large former farm and is fully independent from our house. It consists of one spacious room with two floors that are connected through a staircase. The upper floor with its sleeping area (Queensize bed) can be separated by blackout curtains from the lower area. The lower area consists of a full kitchen with dishwasher, the dining and living area with a very comfortable Franz Fertig sleeping couch. The chalet has a separate bathroom with shower. Its back entrance leads to a private garden with a boules track, two swings for the kids, a hammock, recliners, and a private entrance to the forest. You have your own private terrace outside for BBQ. Our two pet rabbits Hanni and Nanni also live in the back garden and we feed them in the morning and in the evening.

Before your arrival, we will give you the code for the key box. You can ckeck-in independently. We kindly ask you to arrive no later than 10pm.

Other things to note
Our family consists of Christine and Benny (your hosts), our three children, our little labradoodle girl Lilly and our pet rabbits Hanni and Nanni. We live in the house across the chalet. We are happy to assist you with tips and ideas on what to do in our amazingly beautiful part of Switzerland.

We are Christine and Benny, your hosts. We live with our three children, our little labradoodle girl Lilly and our two pet rabbits Hanni and Nanni in the house across the chalet.
