The pictures and text of the listing say it all, except that it is a wonderful place to stay. If I were in the area again, this would be my first pick.

This has been one of the best air bnb's I have stayed in! The property was absolutely beautiful with stunning views and was completely peaceful. Great location if you are wanting to check out the Oregon wine country, but also a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would love to stay here again!

This was our first stay in Oregon. Besides the Windy road to the ranch late at night, this place was easy to find and had spectacular views of Mount Hood. Check-in was easy and we woke up the next morning with a mountain view directly out of our window. Breakfast was easy-just help yourself and clean up afterwards. Blanche and Jack are absolutely lovely people and we enjoyed their recommendations in Newberg and Dundee as well. We were in a bit of a fix with our travel arrangements and Blanche and Jack were extremely accommodating to our last minute needs. We highly recommend this place if you are planning a visit in the Willamette Valley.

This was my first Airbnb experience, and what an incredible experience it was! This home and property blew me away. The location was ideal - very secluded yet close to wineries and cool towns like McMinnville. Blanche and Jack are extremely gracious hosts and make you feel at home right away. They have an "open house policy" which means you have full access to their gourmet kitchen, living/dining areas, and a gameroom upstairs with pool table and huge TV. You also have access to the multiple outdoor spaces which include a hot tub and outdoor fireplace. There's even a man-made brook and pond to add to the outdoor ambiance! The room was a total wow for me. The first thing I noticed was the incredible view of Mt Hood; you're up so high you can see for miles! The bed was fabulous and seemed larger than any I've ever slept in. It's incredibly quiet at night - no sirens, helicopters, and airplanes like the big city. :-) The hosts have almost completed an en suite bathroom that is going to be awesome. The thing I enjoyed the most was discovering that this property is truly a working ranch. The gypsy horses they have were the most beautiful creatures I have seen. And then there were the 'exotic' chickens, cows, and two of the sweetest, most laid-back dogs I've ever encountered. Oh, and hummingbirds galore! This was my first visit to Oregon and I hadn't done much research on "things to do". Not a problem since Blanche had numerous maps, restaurant menus, and suggestions. I highly recommend Stoller Winery (the view is mesmerizing), Sokol Blosser Winery. McMenamin's rooftop restaurant/bar in Hotel Oregon (McMinnville), and breakfast or lunch at the Red Hills Market in Dundee. If you haven't been to Oregon, go as soon as you can and stay at this amazing Airbnb - you won't be disappointed!

What a great getaway. It is tucked away, and as it should be. Just a short winding, dusty road, but at the end....a great lodge to enjoy. So close to all the great Oregon Wines. The owners were really very accommodating and non intrusive. The place had all sort of wonderful ranch animals, babbling brooks and walking in the grass was a treat. The home is spacious and very comfortable. It felt almost like a resort. Highly recommend these folks. We plan on going back again, most certainly.

Blanche User ProfileBlanche is a superhost.

Jack and I are excited to share our stunning home with new friends. We love animals and hope you do too. In our free time we like to fish, hunt, horse camping, enjoy our ranch in Eastern Oregon, listen to country music, and projects around the ranch. We both love to have company and host parties, hence why we are excited to be able to meet new people. We love to travel and try and get out to a sunny destination yearly. We both scuba dive as well.
Jack is a local, growing up in West Linn OR and I was born and raised in Ketchikan Alaska.
We share our 4500 sf house with a mini Aussie and two Ridgebacks. All three dogs are very loving and social. Though they have a big bark, they will welcome you with wagging tails. My 86 yr old father shares our home with us as well. He is very quiet in his room and loves to chat and work on his puzzles, play his computer, oh, and sports sports sports. You can always find him in the family room watching the game. We have about 40 chickens roaming the area during the day. You will hear the rooster crow throughout the day, but they are quiet at night. We have security cameras located around the exterior of the property and on the ground floor of the home. We ask that you respect the privacy of our barn and outbuildings. I am always happy to share our beautiful Gypsy horses with our guest when I am present. Cheers!
