Susanne was an extremely helpful and welcoming host, and she was quick to respond to emailed questions. The apartment is very nice, and larger than I was expecting. The location is excellent. There were only two negative sides to my stay, one of which was simply that the weather was so hot and humid when I visited that at night I had to choose between rather noisy air-conditioning units and ear-plugs, or no air conditioning. The other is that the apartment has most of its windows along one side, which is close to a neighbouring building, so it does not get much light: I found the main room to be rather dark and gloomy, so I never used it, even though I found the wifi connection to be rather patchy/weak in the other rooms. The listing says that there is a washer and a drier, but they are not in the apartment. I would certainly recommend this apartment to other people, but would advise against visiting in August!

We had a really great weekend here. The apartment was very clean, bright, spacious, and well appointed and full of lovely original features and furniture. Although the apartment is on a quiet street, the area is lively with bars, restaurants, and the excellent Walters Museum (free!). Suzanne and her husband were friendly, helpful, and reliable. Honestly couldn't ask for more.

My daughter brought me to Baltimore to see the Aquarium & we decided to stay the night. This was my first experience using Air BNB and because our experience was so great i will probably never stay at a hotel again. Before leaving I told my husband i want to bring him here and definitely will be staying at this location. Such great hosts, so clean & cozy.

We had a very comfortable stay at Susanne's place. Impeccably clean, roomy and oh so comfortable. We're looking forward to our next visit already. Couldn't ask for a better location, price or comfort level. We *will* be back.

Susanne's place is wonderful from all standpoints: great location, comfort, affordability, and hospitality. I stayed at her place with my daughter and mother-in-law and we all had a great time. Susanne and her husband are friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all. I would definitely stay at her place again in the future.

Great friendly host. She set up a time and met us at the front door. Very communicative and obviously cared about our stay. Washed towels and soaps/shampoos we're waiting for us in the bathroom.

Susanne's place was beautiful and perfectly located. I was in town for a conference at the convention center and was able to easily walk down each day, passing the Washington Monument and Walters Art Museum on my way. Great location, cute apartment, very amenable hosts!

I live with my husband Joe and a couple of sheepdogs on the first floor.
We love living in Mt Vernon, as we can walk to a lot of resturants, operas and movies.
Also working at Spirits of Mt Vernon, I get to meet a lot old and new friends.
